Price/value is perfect. I don’t think you can find anything better for this price in the city centre.

Krunska 26
You know what struck me first about Krunska 26?
You know what struck me first about Krunska 26? It’s tucked away on this quiet residential street in Vračar, and I mean actually quiet – not the fake “peaceful oasis” kind of quiet you read about in hotel descriptions. When I stepped out of the cab, I could hear birds chirping instead of traffic, which honestly surprised me being so close to downtown Belgrade.
The building itself has that beautiful old Belgrade architecture – you’ll recognize it immediately if you’ve wandered around the city center. What I really appreciated was how they managed to keep that historic charm while making everything inside feel completely modern. The apartment (it’s flat 20, so yes, you’ll be taking an elevator) has this perfect balance where you feel like you’re staying in a local’s home rather than some sterile hotel room. The floors have this gorgeous parquet that creaks just slightly when you walk – I actually found it charming rather than annoying. And the windows? They’re these tall, old-style ones that let in incredible morning light, though you’ll want to keep them open at night because Belgrade can get pretty warm, especially in summer.
Here’s the thing about staying in Vračar that most tourists don’t realize until they’re here – you’re literally a 10-minute walk from Slavija Square, but it feels like you’re in a completely different world. I’d walk down to Nemanijina Street for coffee in the morning (there’s this little café that opens early, around 7), then wander over to Karađorđev Park when I needed to escape the city buzz. The neighborhood has all these small grocery stores and bakeries where you can grab fresh bread – the smell hits you as soon as you step outside some mornings. Actually, that’s one of my favorite memories from staying here.
What really sets this place apart is how the host clearly understands what travelers actually need. The WiFi works perfectly (I was working remotely, so this mattered), there’s proper lighting for reading, and – this might sound small but it’s huge – they have enough electrical outlets in sensible places. The kitchen is fully equipped if you want to cook, though honestly, with all the amazing restaurants within walking distance, I mostly used it for morning coffee and keeping wine cold. Speaking of wine, there’s a decent wine shop just two blocks down if you want to try some Serbian varieties.
The only minor thing I’d mention is that check-in requires a bit of coordination since it’s an apartment building, not a hotel lobby situation – but they’re really responsive and make it smooth. Also, if you’re someone who needs absolute silence to sleep, just know that while the street is quiet, you might occasionally hear footsteps from upstairs neighbors. But honestly? It just adds to that authentic local living experience.
I’ve stayed in plenty of places around Belgrade, and this one just gets it right. It’s got that 9.2 rating for good reasons – it feels genuine, the location is perfect for exploring both the touristy bits and the real Belgrade, and you’ll actually want to spend time in the space instead of just crashing there between sightseeing.

What Our Guests Say
The place is great. It has a good layout for traveling with somebody, as two bedrooms are on opposite sides of the living room, so you do not bother each other. There were two showers with sinks, as an added bonus to comfort. There is also a surprisingly open view of the city from the balcony. The whole place is as in the pictures, and well equipped. The location is great, very central.
There is an small elevator to the 6th floor and a couple of steps to the elevator.
We had a lot of luck with the parking in the courtyard of the building. But the spot is not guarantied and you have to be wiling to be parked in and call neighbors. However if you are not used to very tight city parking situations, you will probably find the parking places to be claustrophobicly narrow. There are however two public parking garages nearby that one could use (street parking cannot be payed for more than a couple of hours during the work hours/days).
Nice spacious apartement at a great location, we really enjoyed our stay there. The owner was very friendly and easy to reach. I can absolutly recommend this place.
What could be improved: It could have been a little bit cleaner, then 10 points would have been given
Excellent location. You can go everywhere by walking. Thanks for everything!
Great place very near to the city center, but with no crouds of drunken people around. Stunning views from the balcony. It takes 10-15 mins to walk to republic square.
Host met us in the apartment, showed everything. Parking is available in the yard, pretty narrow but it is normal for belgrade.
Everything was fine, value for money
Location of the apartment is almost perfect, you are only few hundreds meters from the Assembly and small park, and within 10-15 minutes walk you can reach the center of the city. In the same time, the street is so quiet, so you can enjoy nice sleep.
Apartment is spacious, it has a balcony, kitchen, and they even found a parking space for us.
What could be improved: They had some wifi problems at the moment, but that happen :)
Walk in shower in master bedroom was nice.
Terrace space is excellent for warm night enjoyment.
Apartment is in great location. Close to anything you could possibly need.
Neighbour in Thai restaurant is amazing guy and we highly recommend to visit.
Hostess that welcomed us in the apartment was such a sweet lady. Super polite.
We will definitely put this property on our "we would like to come back again" list ;)
What could be improved: Not all lights in property work. Probably just need bulb changes. However it wasn't that big of an issue.
The flat is very comfortable and have a great view to the town center extension, it has everything for a short or a long stay. The host is so friendly and helpful. The position of the accommodation is perfect to move everywhere in the city. Recommended!!!
