When you first walk up to the building, it’s one of those classic Belgrade structures that doesn’t look like much from the outside, but then you get to apartment 6 and suddenly you’re wondering why you ever bothered with hotels. The whole setup feels like your well-traveled friend decided to let you crash at their perfectly curated city pad.
What really gets me is the location – I mean, you’re literally a two-minute stumble from Skadarlija, which honestly is tourist central, but somehow this street stays relatively quiet. You know what I love about staying here? You can duck into Tri Šešira or Zlatni Bokal for dinner (the cobblestones get a bit wobbly after a few rakijas, just saying), then actually get a decent night’s sleep without the street musicians serenading you until 2 AM. The apartment itself has this thing where it manages to feel authentically Belgrade without being stuffy or trying too hard – there’s clearly someone behind this place who actually understands what travelers need, not just what looks good in photos.
The practical stuff matters too, and this is where places usually let you down, but not here. Check-in was smooth, the WiFi actually works when you need to upload those Kalemegdan sunset shots, and there’s proper hot water pressure (you’d be surprised how many Belgrade accommodations mess this up). I stayed there during shoulder season in October, and the heating situation was spot-on – none of that rattling radiator nonsense you get in some of the older buildings around Stari Grad. The kitchen’s got everything you need if you want to grab some fresh produce from Zeleni Venac market, which is maybe a 10-minute walk if you take the scenic route past the cathedral. Honestly, with a 9.7 rating, I was expecting to find something wrong with it just to balance things out, but the worst thing I can say is that the building entrance is a little dark at night – hardly a dealbreaker when you’re getting this much character and comfort for the price.

The host was so kind to allow us early check-in after a long overnight journey. The area was perfect; lots of cafes, convenience stores, bus stop, near enough to nightlife but not noisy, and walkable to most attractions. Its also super well-equipped.
I’ve booked this apartment for my family (2 adults, 1 teenager and 1 child) and it was a great stay. The apartment is spacious, located at the very city centre very very close to the main restaurants street - Skadaraska, it has everything for eating at home as well and perfect for the travelling on budget and in-home cooking. The host is very friendly and responsive. Highly recommended!

Good location next to the pedestrian street Skadarska, within walking distance of Republic Square. In the same building there is a bakery and a shop with a dozen varieties of coffee beans, which are roasted and ground on site on professional equipment. The apartment is clean, warm and spacious. Check-in was very easy thanks to the instructions from our host.
What could be improved: The corkscrew turned out to be broken :)

It is near tonthe center area, very neat and clean!
It was very clean and close to the center. Also, if you have any problem, staff takes care of it immediately. There are 2 full length mirrors which is a plus for group of girls. Beds were also comfortable.
What could be improved: We had hot water problem when we first arrived and had to take shower with cold water but it is solved as soon as we mentioned to the staff.

Everything was perfect and the entire experience exceeded my expectations. The host was extremely responsive and communicative. The apartment is central located, equipped with an elevator and surrounded by a market, multiple coffee shops and bakeries. The apartment itself is a perfect mix of modern amenities within an authentic Serbian apartment. It has been renovated, it is spacious, well equipped and extremely clean (most important factor for me). It has two working ACs (extremely important with BG temps reaching 40C), a washer with detergent supplied, a nice size fridge and a cooktop. I will not be staying anywhere else when I’m in BG.
The room is big, the bathroom is beautiful, everything works perfectly, the bedroom and living room has a separator door which gives a certain privacy when you stay with family. The location of the apartment is great. Also there is a non-free but reliable autopark nearby.
What could be improved: Nothing.
