Brand new flat near Tesla museum

You know what caught me off guard about this place?

You know what caught me off guard about this place? The moment I walked into this brand new apartment on Krunska Street, I actually felt like I was staying at a friend’s really well-appointed Belgrade pad rather than some sterile hotel room. The whole building has that fresh-out-of-construction smell – but in a good way, not that overwhelming paint fume situation you sometimes get with new places.

The location is honestly perfect if you want to experience Belgrade like someone who actually lives there. Vračar is one of those neighborhoods that feels authentically Serbian without being touristy, and you’re literally a two-minute walk from the Tesla Museum (hence the name, obviously). But here’s the thing nobody tells you – you’re also perfectly positioned between Svetogorska and Kralja Milana, which means you can stumble home from some of Belgrade’s best kafanas without dealing with taxis or figuring out night bus routes. I mean, Skadarlija gets all the attention, but honestly, you’ll find better food and fewer crowds if you just wander around this area. There’s this little bakery on the corner of Krunska and Resavska that does these incredible burek – I probably gained five pounds just from my morning routine there.

The apartment itself is sleek without being cold, if that makes sense. Everything works (and I mean everything – you’d be surprised how rare that is), the Wi-Fi actually handles video calls without drama, and the kitchen is equipped well enough that you could cook a proper meal if you wanted to skip restaurants for a night. The windows face away from the main street, so it’s surprisingly quiet for being right in the city center. I was worried about noise since Belgrade can get pretty lively, but honestly, I slept better here than I do at home. The shower pressure is fantastic – one of those details that you don’t think about until you’re standing under a pathetic trickle somewhere else. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too, none of that awkward key-passing-through-a-window thing you sometimes get with apartment rentals.

What really sold me on recommending this place is how it sits in Belgrade’s geography. You’re close enough to walk to Kalemegdan when you want that postcard fortress view, but you’re also in easy reach of the more interesting stuff happening in Savamala if you’re into the art scene. The tram stop is right there when your feet give out, and – this might sound weird – but the neighborhood grocery stores actually stock normal stuff, not just tourist-priced snacks. That 9.8 rating makes total sense once you’ve stayed here. It’s not trying to be fancy in that over-the-top way, it’s just really, really good at being exactly what you need when you’re exploring Belgrade.

Flat is light, has fresh renovation, all technics what you need, and good furniture. Bathroom is big enough and comfortable. Flat also has second toilet in second bedroom and two balconys. Building is in exactly the same place where Museum of Nikola Tesla and this is useful place for walking and explore Belgrade center. And it also has good transport availability.
The host is very friendly and kind. We arrived a bit earlier then check-in time, and host provide us a bit more time after check-out for waiting our train. Sure it because no one booked this flat right after us, but it was pleasure not to find where we can leave our suitcases and spent some time for discovering city.

What could be improved: Easter Sunday is a hard time to find opened markets and working bakery in the whole Belgrade. But it not a problem of this flat, last one is absolutely nice!
