You know what caught me off guard about the Bali Colosseum Hotel? The name is completely misleading β there’s nothing remotely Balinese about this place, and honestly, that’s perfectly fine. What you get instead is this solid 4-star spot tucked away on Ugrinovacki put in Zemun, which if you’re not familiar with Belgrade, is actually one of the more charming parts of the city. I mean, most people rush straight to the main Belgrade center, but Zemun has this lovely old-world Austrian feel that’s way more relaxed.
The hotel itself sits in what I’d call a proper residential neighborhood β you’re not dealing with the tourist chaos, but you’re also not stranded in the middle of nowhere. Walking to the Danube waterfront takes maybe ten minutes, and there’s something really nice about strolling along the river in the evening when the tour groups have all headed back to their city center hotels. The building has that contemporary European hotel vibe, nothing too flashy but everything works as it should. Check-in was surprisingly smooth (I’ve had some adventures with Serbian hotel systems before), and the staff actually seemed to know what they were doing. The rooms are what you’d expect from a decent 4-star β clean, comfortable beds, decent bathroom with proper water pressure, which honestly matters more than people think.
What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night. You’re far enough from the main roads that you don’t get the constant traffic noise, but close enough that getting into central Belgrade doesn’t require a major expedition. The 7.6 rating feels about right β it’s not going to blow your mind, but there weren’t any of those little annoyances that can ruin a trip either. The neighborhood around Ugrinovacki put has some genuine local restaurants within walking distance, the kind where you’re more likely to hear Serbian than English, which is exactly what you want when you’re trying to get a feel for a place. Parking was straightforward too, which anyone who’s tried to navigate Belgrade by car will tell you is not something to take for granted. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I wanted to explore more of the Zemun area or if the main city hotels were booked up during one of Belgrade’s busier periods. It’s one of those places that just works without trying too hard to impress you.

The staffs were amazing and their hospitality is top notch. The breakfast was superb π will definitely recommend
What could be improved: The room had a funny odour but I think itβs from the carpet probably needs changing other than that it was very comfortable
The dΓ©cor around the hotel is an attraction. Kids loved the pool and the gym. sauna was relaxing. The breakfast was good and the staff was helpful. All in all a relaxing stay in Belgrade.
What could be improved: Kids were on the couch that was uncomfortable. There should be separate beds for more than two persons in the room. A lot of ware and tare on the furniture. Its hard to keep the plush clean so there's a lot of dust coming out every time you touch it.
Very helpful and friendly receptionist. Pool, sauna, location, spacious and comfortable rooms.
What could be improved: Cleanliness is not good, breakfast could be better (missing fresh bread or taoster, yogurt, vegetable milk...)

Private parking right at the entrance, very convenient. All staff members were very nice. The reception lady recommended a great restaurant for dinner, just a 3-minute drive from the hotel. The swimming pool is clean, sauna is working, no extra charge. There is a little gym, too. The interior design of the hotel is certainly very peculiar and not for everyone's liking but my 8-year old daughter loved "the tiger room" and it definitely made us smile)) The bed was big and comfortable, nice shower, the location is quiet so it is a good place to relax for a night when driving long distance.
What could be improved: The food at breakfast was a bit cold but the choice was correct - eggs, potatos, sausages, cheese etc
Very quiet local environment, very nice and friendly staff, excellent breakfast. A little bit not center but give a chance, to have a rest - it is good place.
This is a very unusual accomodation. It is difficult to say if it is nice and elegant, or if it is already "too much". We knew what to expect
from the pictures and we enjoyed the stay very much. The breakfast was excellent, the pool very pleasant.
What could be improved: Although the place was ready for its clients, it was half empty.
