The apartment itself sits perfectly in this mix – close enough to Knez Mihailova that you can walk there in about fifteen minutes, but far enough that you’re not dealing with the tourist crowds every time you step outside. I mean, you’ll actually hear Serbian conversations in the hallways instead of four different languages, which honestly made the whole experience feel more authentic.

What really sold me on this place was the attention to detail that you don’t expect from most apartment rentals. The kitchen actually has everything you need if you want to cook – proper knives, decent pans, even a coffee maker that doesn’t taste like plastic. The bed was surprisingly comfortable (I’m picky about mattresses), and the Wi-Fi never dropped once during my week there. Small things, sure, but they add up when you’re trying to get work done or just want to feel settled. The owner clearly gets that travelers need practical comfort, not just Instagram-worthy spaces. There’s good natural light throughout the day, which matters more than you’d think, and the shower has proper water pressure – something I’ve learned not to take for granted in European apartments.

One thing to know: the building itself is older, so you’ll hear some street noise if you’re a super light sleeper, but it’s the good kind of city sounds, not traffic chaos. Actually, I found it kind of soothing after a few nights. Parking can be tricky if you’re driving (most people just use public transport anyway), but the tram stops are literally everywhere in this area. The 41 line will get you pretty much anywhere you want to go in the city center. Check-in was smooth – no waiting around or confusing key arrangements – and when I had a question about the heating on my second day, someone responded within an hour. That 9.2 rating makes sense when you experience this level of straightforward hospitality. This isn’t a place trying to wow you with fancy amenities; it’s just genuinely comfortable and well-located, which is exactly what you want when you’re exploring a city like Belgrade.
