The location is what really sold me – you’re right in Savski Venac, which means you can walk to Knez Mihailova (the main pedestrian zone) in about ten minutes, but you’re tucked away enough that you won’t hear drunk tourists singing at 2 AM. The building itself has that classic Belgrade character, you know, the kind of place where the entrance looks a bit intimidating but once you’re inside, it’s got real charm.
What I loved about this place is how they’ve maximized every inch without making it feel claustrophobic. The apartment has this clever loft-style setup that actually works – I mean, I’ve stayed in plenty of “efficiently designed” spaces that felt like sleeping in a filing cabinet, but this isn’t that. The windows are decent sized, so you get good natural light during the day, and honestly, the view isn’t much to write home about but it’s not depressing either. The kitchen area is small but functional – I managed to make coffee and heat up some burek from the bakery down the street without any issues. Speaking of which, there’s this little pekara maybe two blocks away that opens ridiculously early, perfect if you’re dealing with jet lag.
The neighborhood vibe is pretty authentic Belgrade – it’s not touristy, but it’s not sketchy either. You’ve got locals going about their business, some decent kafanas within walking distance, and if you need groceries, there’s a Maxi nearby that stays open late. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle (welcome to Belgrade, right?), but the host was actually helpful about finding street parking that won’t get you towed. The 8.3 rating makes sense to me – it’s not luxury, but it’s thoughtfully done and priced fairly. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I wanted to feel less like a tourist and more like I’m actually experiencing how people live in this part of the city. Just don’t expect a concierge or anything fancy – this is more about having a comfortable, well-located base while you explore everything Belgrade has to offer.

Apartman je odlično opremljen i na lijepoj lokaciji! Ima sve što je potrebno za par dana. Čisto i uredno! Svaka pohvala! Gazdarica je izuzetno fina osoba!

Bargain price, location , convenience store 200 m away, bakery 100 m away, park 200 m away, pharmacy 300 m away , quiet apartment.
What could be improved: Can't find anything to complain about. The price is an absolute bargain considering the location surrounded by stores and parks. I've seen apartments that are less aesthetic to the eye and outside the city center that are 3 times as much as the place.
סך הכל היה מצויין, מקום יפה מטופח ומושקע.
אציין שהמארח נתן שירות אדיב, היה זמין ברמה גבוהה לפני השהות, בעת הכניסה לשהות, ובשהות עצמה, אמנם היה כמה חסרונות כמופיע למטה.
חדר השינה מיטה זוגית עם מזרון אחד, מקרר מעולה ויחסית גדול, פינת אוכל נחמדה, ספה מפנקת, מזגן רק בסלון אבל משפיע טוב מאד על החדר שינה עם דלת פתוחה, וכן משפיע על הפינת אוכל.
לשהיה בשבת-אין אורות אוטומטיים בדירה (יש בכניסה אבל יש גם תאורה רגילה אז זה לא משנה) המפתח הינו מפחת רגיל ולא אלקטרוני, המקרר אינו אלקטרוני וניתן לשימוש בשבת על ידי כיבוי האור.
קרוב לתחנות אוטובוס וחשמלית ראשיים, מרחק הליכה של 10 דקות מהנהר ומהטיילת. קרוב לחב"ד כ6 דק' הליכה, אבל בהלוך עלייה קצת מעצבנת.
לשים לב - תשלום מזומן בלבד.
What could be improved: מים חמים בכמות קטנה, צריך להמתין בין מקלחת למקלחת, היו יתושים ומעופפים בדירה. מטבח יחסית קטן, לנו זה לא הפריע. המקלחת מאד קטנה. בחדר שינה אין מזגן אבל המזגן בסלון השפיע מצויין והיינו ביולי והיה מאד חם בחוץ.
בשבילי אישית המגבות פחות הריחו טוב, אולי כדאי לשים מרכך כביסה.
The best part was how quiet it was even though we were in the city. Also it is hidden from the sun for a large part of the day, so delightfully cool in a heatwave!
There was everything we needed, with a small kitchen plenty of hot water and other essentials.
What could be improved: Nothing really although it could do with a spring clean rather than just a wipe over especially in the bathroom.
But its great value for money.

For us the location was great, easy access to the property (it is in the backyard, quite). In the area you can find lot of supermarkets, coffee shops, exchange, a park, places to eat and just after a 12 min walk you arrive in the city Center.
The host is great, we had a good comunication, he was there when we checkin.
The property is quite big, fully furnished, fully equipped, the sheets and towels smelled good.
Wifi working good.
What could be improved: Maybe because it was on the ground floor or maybe because the bathroom had no window…but you can really feel some humidity and a not nice smell in the bathroom.
This apartment is totally great! Everything is clean, location is perfect. You are 10 minutes walking distance away from the center, there are shops close to apartment. Kitchen is well equipped, you have everything. Hosts are amazing. They will help to all your requests. Highly recommended.
