You know what struck me first about The 7 Apartment? It’s tucked right into Palmotićeva street in a way that feels completely intentional – like someone actually thought about what travelers need instead of just finding the cheapest spot available. I mean, you’re literally in Stari Grad, which honestly beats staying in New Belgrade and having to trek into the old town every time you want to do anything interesting.
The whole setup is surprisingly sophisticated for what could’ve been just another apartment rental. They’ve got this 4-star thing down without being stuffy about it – you’ll find proper amenities (good water pressure, thank god) but it still feels like you’re staying somewhere with actual character. The building itself has that solid Belgrade architecture that makes you feel grounded in the city, not floating around in some generic hotel bubble. What really impressed me was how quiet it stays at night, even though you’re close enough to Skadarlija that you can walk over for dinner without calling a taxi. That’s the sweet spot right there – central enough to matter, residential enough to actually sleep.
Here’s what you need to know about the location – and I’m being specific because it actually matters. You’re a short walk from Kalemegdan, which means morning coffee runs are totally doable, and you can hit the fortress for sunset without it being this whole production. The tram connections are solid if you need to get around the city, but honestly, most of what you’ll want to see is walkable from here. Parking can be tricky (it’s Belgrade, after all), but the hosts seem to know the neighborhood well enough to give you actual useful advice, not just “figure it out yourself” energy. The rating of 9.6 makes sense once you’re there – it’s one of those places where small details are handled properly, from check-in logistics that don’t waste your time to having the kind of kitchen setup where you can actually cook if you want to, not just reheat leftovers. The whole experience feels like staying at a friend’s place, if your friend happened to be really good at hosting and understood what travelers actually need versus what they say they need.

The location is very central, you can reach the central street by walking. The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was friendly and very helpful. For those for whom it is important - wi-fi was good as well.
The hosts are very helpful and friendly. They are a genuinely good and lovely couple who take pride in providing good, clean and comfortable accommodation in an excellent location. All the bedding is new and fresh, the apartment is well kept and very clean. It is perfect for a visit to Belgrade, within walking distance of many central locations. I felt safe and found my way around very easily. The hosts were very accommodating and made sure to check I had everything I needed.
What could be improved: Very little, not worth mentioning.
The apartment owners were helpful and responsive. The apartment was close to city centre and there were many nice restaurants nearby. We felt safe when we walked at night in the neighbourhood.
What could be improved: It would be better if the bed sheets and tableware were cleaner.
Wow! The owners went above and beyond helping me! Very responsive and communicative hosts. Since I had a late flight back, I left my luggage in the flat, they offered to take the luggage with them by taxi to their home to store it until the afternoon - everything was easy and worked perfectly. When I came to collect my luggage, Jelena even walked with me to the airport shuttle station. I felt like I was in best hands in Belgrade :) Thank you so much. The flat also had everything you need and there were small treats and gestures. So glad I have stayed with you and gotten to know you. Hvala and dankeschön :)
What could be improved: Everything was fine value/money. The bathroom, mats and bed sheets could have been cleaner. But all negligible.
Only 5 mins walk from the main square. Property has a balcony, modern kitchen with basic cooking utensils. Lovely host was there to handover the keys.
What could be improved: Nothing.
The location is perfect. it is possible to walk everywhere you want. The hosts were excellent. Everything you would need was thought of in advance and was available for you at home. They prepared little surprises for the children such as sweets. I must say that we were really very satisfied. I would like to say that if our road falls to Belgrade again, I will not look for another place.

Location is outstanding. City center is very near. Quiet neighbourhood... Lots of coffee shops, bars, restaurants nearby. Flat itselft is totaly equiped with all you can possibly imagine. Felt like in a really good hotel all the time. Hosts are outstanding young and communicative people always in the mood to help and share information. I will FOR SURE look for this accomodation once again when I am planning to come to Belgrade! 10+++
