You know what?
You know what? I wasn’t expecting much when I first walked up to Sneki Apartment on Kapetan Misina – I mean, it’s tucked into this narrow street in Stari Grad where you’d honestly walk right past it if you weren’t looking. But that’s actually part of what makes it so great. You’re literally in the heart of Belgrade’s old town, and I’m talking about the real deal here, not some touristy recreation.
The apartment itself is surprisingly spacious – definitely bigger than what you’d get in most European city centers for the price. The owner clearly put thought into the details, and I noticed things like proper blackout curtains (trust me, you’ll appreciate this if you’re dealing with jet lag) and a kitchen that’s actually functional, not just for show. The bathroom’s modern without being sterile, which is harder to pull off than you’d think. What really got me though was stepping out onto that little balcony in the morning – you can hear the city waking up, but it’s not the jarring traffic noise you’d expect. More like… authentic Belgrade sounds, if that makes sense. People heading to work, the occasional tram rumbling by, shop owners opening up.
Location-wise, you’re maybe a five-minute walk from Knez Mihailova, which is where all the tourists end up anyway, but you’re also close enough to some of the spots locals actually go to. There’s this bakery around the corner – I never caught the name, but they have these pastries that are basically perfect with morning coffee. And honestly, being in Stari Grad means you can walk to most of the stuff worth seeing, but you’re also close to the Danube if you want to escape the city buzz for a bit. Parking can be tricky (it’s Belgrade, what do you expect?), but the host was really helpful about explaining the street parking situation – apparently there are certain hours when it’s free, which saves you quite a bit if you’re staying several days. The check-in was smooth, no weird key-pickup locations or confusing instructions. The whole experience just felt… easy, I guess? Like staying at a friend’s place who actually knows how to host people properly.

Excellent apartment is a great location. Sneki is a very lovely and hospitable person. I totally recommend this apartment, because all stores are there and touristic sights are easily accesed.

- The owner was very friendly and welcoming. She gave us useful tips about the area. She is very responsive and timely answers your questions/messages.
- The location of the apartment is very good. The heart of the old town is 5-10 away by walking. Most of the other attractions are also within walking distance. There are very nice restaurants, cafe/bars nearby good for dinner and breakfast. We did not use but public transport seemed convenient as well.
- The apartment is quite spacious.
- The kitchen counter is a bit small, but enough and it has basic utensils for a simple meal or for having your take away food at home.
- For visitors with car, parking may be a bit tricky though it was not a problem for us (with the help of the owner). If you ask in advance, she provides you the location of a nearby paid parking area which is 3-4 min by walk. Otherwise, there is paid street parking option which is not very expensive. But the problem is, parking in the street is limited to 3h that can be extended for 1h. You can manage it with an app that can be downloaded from parking-servis.co.rs It works for foreign plate number cars as well. I think it would be easier to use the gated parking if you dont want to deal with the street parking and extensions etc. Parking is the little consequence of being so close to the center :) and it can be easily managed.

I had a wonderful stay at this apartment! The location is excellent, providing easy access to key attractions. The cleanliness of the place exceeded my expectations, and the friendly demeanor of the host made my experience even more enjoyable. The host was exceptionally welcoming and accommodating. Moreover, the pricing is very reasonable considering the outstanding performance in terms of service and facilities. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-located accommodation. It truly exceeded my expectations, and I would gladly stay here again in the future.
The location was perfect for us because we wanted to stay close to our friends and close to the Kalemegdan park.

I liked the constant contact with Mrs. Snezhana, she was attentive and pleasant communication. Optimal location of the apartments. Two stops to Kalemegdan, the same distance to Skadarlija. Direct lines to Republic Square and Slavia Square. Nearby are two stores Idea and Maxi, as well as a bakery. Apartment on the ground floor. At night, absolute silence and very warm if needed. additional blankets TVs with the necessary channels Convenient check-in and check-out times and forms,
we stayed for 4 nights. Not enough for an interesting city, the capital of a beautiful country!
What could be improved: I would like the refrigerator door to rattle less by the next meeting:))
Very good location. Close to the city and many cozy cafes and restaurants close by. You don’t need a car when you stay here.
