It was amazing!
The apartment is located close to the city center.
There are several places nearby where you can enjoy delicious food.
Bus and tram stops are also within walking distance.
The windows face a quiet courtyard with beautiful rooftops.
The room is very bright and extremely clean.
There’s a 24/7 shop in the neighboring building.
The host is very sweet!
Thank you so much — it was truly wonderful staying at your place!
What could be improved: Just a couple of things to keep in mind:
At night, you might hear a tram passing by, and if you have heavy luggage, be aware that the rooms are located on the second floor and there is no elevator.

Slavija Square Apartments
You know what really struck me about Slavija Square Apartments?
You know what really struck me about Slavija Square Apartments? It’s one of those places where the location actually lives up to the hype – and I mean that in the best way possible. Sitting right on Beogradska Street in Vračar, you’re basically in the heart of what locals consider “real Belgrade.” I’ve stayed in plenty of places that claim to be central, but this one genuinely delivers. You can walk to Republic Square in about fifteen minutes, and honestly, the route takes you through some of the most interesting streets in the city. The apartment itself (I stayed in number 7) has this solid, no-nonsense feel – clean lines, good lighting, and thankfully, really effective blackout curtains because the morning sun can be pretty intense on that side of the building.
What I really appreciated was how the place manages to feel both modern and authentically Belgrade at the same time. The apartment’s got all the practical stuff you actually need – a proper kitchen where you can make coffee the way you like it, decent WiFi that doesn’t cut out every five minutes, and enough space to spread out your stuff without feeling cramped. The host was refreshingly straightforward during check-in, none of that overly rehearsed tourist spiel, just genuine helpful information about the neighborhood. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle around there – it’s city center after all – but there are spots if you’re patient, and honestly, you might not even need a car much once you’re settled in.
The thing about Vračar is that it’s got this perfect balance between being lively and livable. You’ll hear some street noise during the day, but it’s the good kind – people actually living their lives, not just tourist chaos. Evenings tend to quiet down nicely, and the neighborhood has this great mix of local cafes and places where you can grab groceries without having to trek across the city. I mean, you’re literally a few blocks from some of Belgrade’s best restaurants, and the morning bakery smells from the street level shops are pretty incredible. That 9.4 rating makes sense when you stay here – it’s not trying to be the flashiest place in Belgrade, but it gets the fundamentals right and puts you exactly where you want to be to actually experience the city.

What Our Guests Say
Great and quiet location in Beograd.
Very kind and helpful host
Clean apartment with central location.
What could be improved: I booked this apartment because it said self-check-in. It turns out the apartment is not self check-in. We were two young girls in the apartment and a man that is not the host came to pick up the money without us knowing beforehand that he will come. Also we didn't get the change (the change was 3euros, but still it's my change :))
I recently stayed here and couldn’t be happier with my experience. Everything was spotlessly clean, which made me feel right at home. The prices are very affordable, especially considering the prime location. It’s well-connected to public transport and right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay!
This is our 2nd time in this apartment. Host is very friendly and helpful. Apartment is clean and comfortable.
We were in Belgrade during the Rammstein concert, and prices went up really high. Other accommodations were cancelling stay only to raise the price. But this one didn't do it, which we appreciate a lot!
The apartments were great!
What could be improved: There are so many stairs and no elevator, keep it in mind if you have heavy suitcases.
The host is very helpful
What could be improved: It was a bit complicat to store our bicycles
new and clean
What could be improved: poor sound insulation
All good, has a small balcony with a view of patio, wifi is good enough for working from home. Bathroom has heated floor, very cool.
What could be improved: Sometimes you can hear a tram go by but they stop at night
Ivana is really nice person. Flat is very clean.
What could be improved: Nothing
