Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to this place on Alekse Nenadovića – I mean, apartment rentals can be hit or miss, you know? But the moment I stepped into Slavija Lux, I got that “oh, this is actually nice” feeling. The building itself has that solid Belgrade charm without being stuffy, and you’re literally a five-minute walk from Slavija Square (which, let’s be real, puts you right in the thick of everything without the tourist trap madness). The two-bedroom setup is genuinely spacious – not that cramped European apartment thing where you’re bumping into furniture. I actually found myself spreading out my stuff instead of living out of a suitcase, which says something.
What really won me over was how the owner clearly gets what travelers need. The kitchen has actual cooking supplies, not just a sad hotplate and two forks. There’s proper coffee – and if you’ve spent time in Belgrade, you know how seriously locals take their coffee culture. The Wi-Fi is solid (I was video calling back home without issues), and the water pressure in the shower is surprisingly good for this part of the city. The bedroom windows face away from the main street, so you’re not dealing with that constant Belgrade traffic hum all night. Though honestly, the neighborhood has this nice residential vibe anyway – you’ll hear more conversations from the courtyard than car horns.
Being in Vračar puts you in this sweet spot where you feel like you’re living in actual Belgrade, not just visiting it. You can walk to Kalemegdan when you want the tourist stuff, but you’re also near those little kafanas where locals actually hang out. There’s a fantastic bakery literally around the corner that opens ridiculously early – I’d grab burek on my way out most mornings. The apartment building has that intercom system that takes a minute to figure out, but once you do, getting in and out is smooth. Parking can be tricky during busy hours (welcome to Belgrade), but the owner gives you decent guidance on where to find spots. I ended up using the trams more anyway – there’s a stop practically at your doorstep that connects you everywhere you’d want to go. The whole experience just felt… right, I guess? Like staying at a friend’s place who happens to have excellent taste and actually cares about making sure you’re comfortable.

Stan je komforan, čist i uredan. Ima sve što je potrebno za boravak. Lokacija je odlična, nalazi se u centru grada ali u mirnoj ulici sa mnogo zelenila, izolovana od buke i prometnih saobraćajnica.
The apartment and its location are excellent. The host is extremely polite and friendly. The place is clean, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything you might need during your stay. I highly recommend it and will definitely book the same apartment if I return to Belgrade.

Шикарная локация в центре, транспортная доступность на высоте. Квартира чистая, просторная, есть все что только может понадобится. Прекрасный хозяин, нас приняли очень хорошо)) желаем ему больше гостей.

Apartman je velik, prostran, sa puno dnevnog svetla, zimi topao, izuzetno čist i kompletno opremljen svim kućnim aparatima. Kreveti udobni, čista desetka. Domaćin Jovan ljubazan i uvek dostupan za informaciju, savet i sve što vam treba. Lokacija apartmana odlična. Javni parking u blizini, na 50 metara od zgrade Topla preporuka svima koji žele da osete čari divnog grada Beograda .
Clean, comfortable, spacious, and modern. Nice kitchen and bathroom with all the amenities. WiFi worked great. Central heating kept it nice and toasty. Lots of light. Quiet street. Close to Slavija Square, shopping, and restaurants. Friendly and responsive host. Five stars!
What could be improved: Unfortunately, the elevator was out of service for part of my stay, but the host went out of his way to help with my luggage and offered a discount. Thumbs up! 👍
Everything was amazing, very polite and friendly host, apartmant was even more beautiful than in the pictures. We really enjoyed our stay here!
The place was perfect, it was spacious and had everything you could need or want. Jovan was extremely kind and helpful and made us feel right at home.
Check In was easy, location is great with a carpark close by to park in for a decent price.
Highly recommend and we will be back if we return to the area.
