You know what struck me first about Sasa's House?
You know what struck me first about Sasa’s House? It’s tucked away on this quiet residential street – Lomina – that most tourists never stumble across, but honestly, that’s exactly what makes it special. I mean, you’re still in Savski Venac, so you can walk to Knez Mihailova in about fifteen minutes, but when you come home at night, it actually feels like coming home, not returning to some bustling hotel corridor.
The place has this lived-in warmth that’s hard to fake – I think it’s because Sasa (yeah, there’s actually a Sasa) clearly put thought into the details that matter. The rooms aren’t huge, but they’re smartly laid out, and the beds are legitimately comfortable. I’m talking proper sleep, not that stiff hotel mattress nonsense. What really got me though was the breakfast situation – it’s not some massive buffet, but everything’s fresh and local, and you’ll probably end up chatting with other guests around this communal table setup they have. Kind of reminded me of staying at a friend’s place, if your friend happened to be really good at hospitality.
Here’s the thing about the location that took me a day to fully appreciate: you’re positioned perfectly between the old fortress area and the bohemian Skadarlija quarter, but you’re not dealing with the noise and chaos of either. The street’s residential enough that you can open your windows at night (the rooms get decent airflow, which matters in Belgrade summers), but there’s this little café two blocks down where locals actually hang out – not tourist central, just good coffee and real conversations. Parking’s not terrible either, which… well, if you’ve driven in Belgrade, you know that’s saying something. The 8.7 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there – it’s not trying to be fancy, it’s just genuinely well-run and thoughtful. Four stars feels about right too; it’s got everything you need without any pretense, and sometimes that’s exactly what you want when you’re exploring a city like Belgrade.

I had a wonderful stay! The location was perfect, making it easy to explore the area. Sasha, the host, was incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring I had everything I needed.
The best feature of this house was definitely the terrace. It was very convenient and comfortable, allowing me to take a chair and enjoy some time outdoors. It really enhanced my stay!
What could be improved: I was disappointed with my stay. The house was not clean; there were hairs on the floor, and the bedding felt like some kind of synthetic material. On my last night, a neighbor was walking outside my window and loudly talking on the phone, which was quite disturbing. The overall dirtiness of the floors was the most unpleasant part of my experience.

What could be improved: The bathroom was not clean at all. booking should specify that this is not an apartment in a building but a house.

Clean, comfortable, fully furnished a great apartment. Building is old but apartment have a great restoration. Perfect wi-fi connection. Close to the markets and old town. The owner's son Luka is great person he is very helpful. Deserves a solid 10!

Awesome location. Cozy street and lovely neighbours. Very high privacy, no one ever passes your doors/windows, even though the apartment is on ground level. Outdoor lighting in case you have to come back late. Private and spacious terrace. Very spacious and convenient apartment, good sound insulation. An oven, microwave and a considerably big fridge are certainly a plus. Friendly owner provided us useful information about money exchanges, nearby grocery shops, cafe and tourist attractions.
What could be improved: Wifi speed is average. There was no central heating (although AC can somewhat help with that). One of the bedside tables was a little greasy. But otherwise it is a great option.

The location, layout, and facilities make this a wonderful place to stay for couples and families. The Zeleni Venac market and transit hub is very close by, as are many shops and restaurants.
The apartment was very well equipped with all of the kitchen equipment one might need.
Even though you’re in the heart of the city, it’s tucked-away location made the apartment very quiet & comfortable.
What could be improved: Due to its tucked-away location, the view from the windows was of the wall of the next building. If a view is important to you, this might not be the place for you.

I stayed 3 weeks + it was very convenient.
Location close to everything in the city center.
Central bus station Zeleny Venac and BAS station in a few minutes by walk.
Several supermarkets close by walk.
Apartments inside internal yard was quite silent all time.
Kitchen equipped with necessary tools.
2 AC perform heating as well in the bedroom and kitchen you can survive in any weather conditions.
The Lomina street cosy and without instant traffic.
Washing machine works well.
Also here Iron and vacuum cleaner.
Sasa was supported white carton creation and helped me with any questions which appeared during my stay. He is super host!
Internet worked stable and reliable.
What could be improved: I can list only small things here just for fun.
If you need some funny picture from window it is not about, you will see the wall but you can find nice views outside of house easily.
I missed appropriate cover for pan :) but I'm sure Sasa can fix it if you ask about.
In the cooking area little bit dark to do something, only range hood add some light there.
