You know what surprised me about Nobles Apartment? It’s tucked away on Džordža Vašingtona street, which honestly sounds way more impressive in English than it actually is – it’s this quiet little side street in Stari Grad that most tourists walk right past. But that’s exactly why I loved it. You’re literally in the heart of old Belgrade, maybe a three-minute walk from Knez Mihailova (the main pedestrian zone), but you don’t have to deal with all the street noise and crowds of drunk tourists stumbling around at 2 AM.
The apartment itself feels like someone’s stylish cousin decided to rent out their place – and I mean that in the best way possible. It’s got that perfect balance of being modern enough that everything actually works (the WiFi is solid, the shower has proper water pressure), but with enough character that you’re not staying in some sterile hotel box. The kitchen is fully equipped, which honestly saved me a fortune because Belgrade’s grocery stores are ridiculously cheap, and there’s something satisfying about making coffee in the morning while looking out at the old architecture. The rating of 9.8 makes total sense once you’re there – I mean, it’s not fancy in a five-star hotel way, but everything just… works. The host responds to messages immediately, check-in was smooth, and the little touches (good coffee in the welcome package, local recommendations written by hand) show someone actually cares about your experience.
What really sold me on the location was realizing I could walk to Kalemegdan Fortress in about eight minutes, hit the bohemian quarter of Skadarlija in five, and still grab late-night burek from that legendary bakery on Francuska street without calling a taxi. Plus – and this matters if you’re planning to explore beyond the tourist center – you’re close enough to the bus and tram lines that getting to Zemun or across the river is actually doable. The building itself is one of those classic Belgrade structures that’s been properly renovated, so you get the charm of high ceilings and thick walls (which keeps things quiet) without the headache of dodgy plumbing. I stayed there in early October when the weather was perfect for walking around, and honestly, I can’t imagine a better base for exploring the city. It’s the kind of place where you end up staying in for an extra hour in the morning just because it feels comfortable, but then you remember you’re in one of Europe’s most underrated cities and you really should get out and explore.

Great host with a welcoming Rakia and a small gift at the end to say good-bye, clean, big space, rooms to sleep and space to socialise. Everything went well.
What could be improved: For those who are very noise-sensitive might be an ear-plugin an option even if the apartment goes to the calm courtyard.
The Apartment ist really spacious - we were 5 people and it was enough space for everyone to feel comfortable. The location is perfect - you can reach main sights on foot - it’s a big plus because there are many traffic jams in the city, and there are many restaurants, cafes nearby and a small local market direkt opposite the building! The host is very welcoming and thoughtful - it’s such a difference, what small nice gestures can do! The communication was easy and he did checkin and checkout personally - tank you very much !!!
What could be improved: Everything was super! But if you have a car it could be a bit difficult to find a parking space.
I’ve read some comments about the view - I liked it very much! You can hear some noise from the street, but you’re staying in the central area - it’s normal for the great location!

The location of the house is very central. The host is a very sweet person, he welcomed us warmly and offered us drinks. He gave us very good suggestions for our trip. We did not experience any discomfort during our stay. As he bid us farewell, he gave us all fridge magnets as a gift. Definitely a house to be preferred
