Lovely Studio with a big terrace

So I've stayed at this place on Bulevar Zorana Đinđića a couple times now, and honestly?

So I’ve stayed at this place on Bulevar Zorana Đinđića a couple times now, and honestly? It’s become my go-to spot in Belgrade. The name “Lovely Studio with a big terrace” sounds a bit cheesy, I’ll admit, but they’re not lying about that terrace – it’s actually huge and faces west, so you get these incredible sunset views over New Belgrade’s skyline. You know what struck me first? How quiet it is for being right on one of the main boulevards. I mean, you can hear some traffic during rush hour, but it’s not the kind of noise that keeps you up at night.

The studio itself is pretty smart – someone clearly thought about how to use the space efficiently without making it feel cramped. There’s this nice separation between the sleeping area and the little kitchenette, and the bathroom is surprisingly spacious (definitely bigger than most Belgrade apartments I’ve been in). What I really appreciate is that they’ve got proper blackout curtains – crucial if you’re dealing with jet lag or just want to sleep in after exploring Skadarlija until 3 AM. The WiFi actually works well too, which… well, let’s just say that’s not always a given in this part of the world. I ended up working from the terrace a few mornings, and it was honestly better than most coworking spaces.

Location-wise, you’re perfectly positioned if you want to experience both sides of Belgrade. The old town is maybe 15 minutes by tram – just hop on line 7 or 9 from the stop that’s literally two minutes away. But here’s what most tourists don’t realize: New Belgrade has its own thing going on. There’s this excellent farmers market on Saturdays just a few blocks down, and some surprisingly good restaurants tucked away in the residential streets. Plus, if you’re flying out of Nikola Tesla Airport, you’re looking at maybe 20 minutes in a taxi instead of the hour-long trek from the old center. Parking can be a bit tricky on the street, but there’s usually something available if you’re willing to walk a block or two. The building itself is one of those communist-era blocks that looks brutalist from the outside but is actually well-maintained – the elevator works, the hallways are clean, and my key card never failed me once. Check-in was smooth both times, though I’d recommend confirming your arrival time since it’s not a traditional hotel setup. The 7.9 rating feels about right – it’s not luxury, but it’s comfortable, practical, and the terrace really does make all the difference, especially if you’re traveling in spring or summer.

The apartment is spacious and in a great location, which we really liked. There are plenty of bed linens and towels, which is a big plus, especially if you’re not bringing your own. This detail made our stay more convenient and comfortable.

What could be improved: The apartment is on the fifth floor with no elevator, which is terrible if you have a lot of luggage. The drains in the bathroom are clogged, so we couldn’t even take a shower without everything flooding. On top of that, the bathroom door doesn’t close properly, which made things even more inconvenient.

The studio was beautiful, clean, and the terrace was a great bonus! It had everything needed for a comfortable stay and I enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere

What could be improved: The apartment is on the 5th floor with no elevator. If you have heavy luggage, it can be quite challenging to carry it up the stairs.

The apartment is located in a very good area: close to shop, restaurants, office buildings and even free parking is available, if you are lucky. The apartment itself is large, especially the terrace. Besides the usual (bed, bathroom) there is a fully equipped kitchen, large comfortable sofa, and a really great balcony with plants and furniture for chilling.
The owner gave me the keys personally, and was really helpful in getting around. Upon checkout no personal meeting was necessary.

We had a pleasant one-night stay in this cozy studio. The terrace is lovely, and the apartment, despite its size, is well-equipped with everything you might need. The coffee machine and all other technical appliances were in perfect working order, and we had no issues with hot water. The host was friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable; we recommend it!

Great terrace, nice interior, city center in 1 or 2 bus stops away.

What could be improved: No elevator, so we had to carry heavy bags ourselves to the 5th floor. Just a thing to remember though, it doesn’t affect the impression of the property.

Location is good. The neighborhood is old but has everything you need. The guy who gave us the keys is very kind and easy to communicate with. The studio is clean and comfortable. It is located on the top floor of the building so has a nice view.

What could be improved: Although we were lucky to find free parking spot in front of the building there aren't many of them during the day or late in the evening. We left our car there during our stay because we were not sure if we will be able to find another free parking space again.

Also we found only hand towels. There were no body towels.

We’ll situated for local bars, cafes and shops. Lovely community area and quiet at night. We’ll situated for bus into town or airport.

What could be improved: Shower hadn’t had the best of cleans, but ok.
Dishwasher had been loaded incorrectly, so pans etc were all full of dirty water.
Ensure you follow the map a on booking.com - slight confusion in finding location at night.

Very nice apartment with a lot of sunlight, nice balcony and a very big living room. They left some fruits for us on the table which was very nice of them. Kitchen was well equipped. Host was very nice and communication was easy.

What could be improved: Bathroom, specifically shower cabin could have been a bit more cleaner, maybe some newer towels. But it had some nice shower gels and washing machine. Also didn't have an elevator which can be problematic when you bring a lot of stuff with you 😄
