Liked our room, even though it looked a bit different than on the pictures (room 417)
The cleaning was made daily even though we did not request it, thank you :)
Got help from the reception to install my SIM card in the middle of the night. Thank you!!
What could be improved: Maybe a small thing: when I left my bag for the day after checkout, I did not get a tag or anything that would confirm that the bag belongs to me. I was worried that anyone can just come and take my bag. When I arrived my bag was still there, so all good, but the reception lady was different so I don’t know how they keep track which bag belongs to whom, spooky!
Five Points Square – City Center

Five Points Square – City Center
You know what caught me off guard about Five Points Square?
You know what caught me off guard about Five Points Square? The name makes it sound like some generic business hotel, but this place actually has character – and I mean that in the best way. Walking up to Trg Republike 3, you’re literally steps from Republic Square, which honestly makes the location feel almost too good to be true. I’ve stayed in Belgrade a handful of times, and finding a proper hotel right in the thick of things (without paying resort prices) is pretty rare.
The building itself has that solid, Old World feel that you get in this part of Stari Grad, but inside they’ve managed to update things without going overboard with the modern renovation thing. My room was on the fifth floor – hence the “V” in the address, I figured out later – and the view actually looks out toward the pedestrian zone. You can hear some street activity during the day, but it’s not the kind of noise that keeps you up at night. More like… city life happening below, which I sort of love when I’m traveling. The staff at check-in were genuinely helpful too, not just going through the motions. They pointed out a couple of local spots that weren’t in my guidebook, including this little kafana tucked behind Knez Mihailova that became my go-to dinner spot.
What really works about this place is how it sits in the neighborhood. You’re a two-minute walk from Knez Mihailova Street – that’s the main pedestrian drag where everyone ends up eventually – but you’re also close enough to the Danube that you can actually walk down to the waterfront without taking a taxi. I did that most mornings, grabbed coffee from one of the vendors, and just watched the river wake up. The hotel breakfast was decent (nothing fancy, but real Serbian cheese and bread that didn’t taste like it came from a factory), and they serve it until 10 AM, which is civilized. Parking was easier than I expected too – there’s a garage situation nearby that the front desk helped arrange, though honestly, you don’t need a car for anything once you’re settled in this area. The whole historic center is walkable, and if you want to get to Zemun or somewhere further out, the bus connections are right there. After four nights, I felt like I’d gotten a real taste of Belgrade rather than just staying in some hotel bubble, and for a four-star place with solid ratings, it delivered exactly what I was hoping for without any unpleasant surprises.

What Our Guests Say
The location is good. The bed is very comfortable.
What could be improved: Hairs were found on the towel. I did not find coffee or tea bags in my room. They may provide a cup for teech brushing in the bathroom.
This was a last minute booking due to an issue with original accomodation. The booking process went very smoothly and quickly with no issues. The view from the room overlooking Republic Square, the National Theatre and the Danube was really great! Lovely comfortable bed, plenty of storage for different types of clothes and personal belonging. Excellent shower and bathroom with lots of products. The cleaning was done very well.
What could be improved: The lift was a bit small and slow but that is really very minor.
Old building but room was very clean. It’s so close to everywhere. Receptionist was very kind and helpful. Thank you for everything
Staff
The hotel is right on the main square which was handy, the room was very big with a great view of the square and main road. Although it’s on the main road it was quit. Staff where great help
Very good location. Good value for money.
What could be improved: Beds were a little hard and the place could do with some upgrading.
Perfect location, the room was clean and warm, the personel was happy to help, everything was close to the hotel.
What could be improved: The building entrance was in terrible condition, although it doesnt have to do with the hotel owners. Besides the actual building entrance is on the 5th floor.
The location of the hotel was perfect, just in front of the republic square and walking distance of Kneza Mihaila
(Кнеза Михаила) street which is the best place to stay near to in belgrade.
What could be improved: There was only one shower towel.
They charged me 10 € for a step on towel that I stepped on after rain, and it was damaged from one side before I used it , which I think it could be washed.
Location was perfect,Staff excelent👍
