EXCLUSIVE Apartment

Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw “EXCLUSIVE Apartment” on Džona Kenedija, I thought it might be one of those places that oversells itself. But honestly? It actually lives up to the name, and that 8.8 rating makes total sense once you’re there.

The thing about this part of Novi Beograd is that it’s got this weird mix of old Yugoslav brutalist blocks and newer developments, and this place sits right in that sweet spot where you’re close to everything but not drowning in tourist chaos. You’re literally a five-minute walk from the Sava riverfront – I mean, you can see the water from some of the windows – and if you need to get into the old city center, the tram connection is actually pretty decent. What I really appreciated was the parking situation; there’s proper garage space, which anyone who’s tried to park in Belgrade will tell you is basically gold. The building itself has that solid, well-maintained feel that you don’t always get with apartment rentals.

Inside, well, it’s clear someone put real thought into this place. The apartments are spacious in a way that surprised me – Belgrade can be cramped, but these rooms actually breathe. The kitchens are properly equipped (not just a mini-fridge and hope), and the Wi-Fi is strong enough that I could work from there without wanting to throw my laptop out the window. You know what really got me though? The little details. Good shower pressure, blackout curtains that actually block light, and – this might sound weird – but the beds are genuinely comfortable, not just “hotel comfortable.” The whole setup feels like someone’s nice apartment that they’re letting you borrow, not a sterile rental unit.

The neighborhood comes alive in the evenings, especially on weekends, but it’s not the kind of noise that’ll keep you up unless you’re a really light sleeper. There’s a solid café scene within walking distance, and if you’re into that whole riverside jogging thing, the Sava promenade is right there. Plus – and locals will back me up on this – you’re positioned perfectly for getting to Ada Ciganlija in summer, which is basically Belgrade’s beach scene. The four-star rating feels accurate; it’s not trying to be the Ritz, but it’s definitely a step above your standard apartment rental. I’d actually stay here again, which is saying something because I’m usually pretty picky about these things.
