The accommodation was comfortable, clean and nicely presented. Snežana met us at the door to give us the keys. She was kind and helpful.
What could be improved: It was not a problem for us, but it is on the third floor and only accessible by stairs.

Evergreen
You know what struck me first about the Evergreen?
You know what struck me first about the Evergreen? It’s tucked away on Страхињића Бана street in a way that feels both central and surprisingly quiet – which honestly is pretty rare in Belgrade’s Stari Grad district. I mean, you’re literally walking distance from Knez Mihailova pedestrian zone and the fortress, but somehow this little pocket feels removed from all that tourist chaos. The building itself has this understated elegance that doesn’t scream “look at me” like some of the flashier places downtown.
The thing about Belgrade hotels is they can be hit or miss with service, but the Evergreen actually gets it right. Check-in was smooth (they spoke excellent English, which – let’s be real – isn’t always a given), and the staff seemed to genuinely know the neighborhood. When I asked about grabbing coffee nearby, the guy at reception didn’t just point me toward Starbucks but mentioned this little local spot around the corner that serves proper Serbian coffee. That kind of insider knowledge makes a difference. The rooms are what you’d expect from a solid 4-star – clean, comfortable beds, decent-sized bathrooms – but there’s attention to detail that elevates it. Good blackout curtains (essential if you’re planning late nights in Belgrade’s legendary nightlife scene), and the AC actually works properly, which trust me, you’ll appreciate during those sweltering summer months.
What really sold me on this place, though, is how it sits in the city. You can walk to Republic Square in maybe ten minutes, hit up the bohemian Skadarlija quarter just as easily, but when you come back at night, you’re not dealing with street noise or crowds of drunk tourists stumbling around. There’s something to be said for being able to slip away from the intensity of Belgrade when you need to recharge. The area has that lived-in feel – you’ll see locals heading to work in the morning, kids playing in the small park nearby, old guys playing chess at the café down the street. It’s authentic without trying too hard to be, if that makes sense. Plus, parking isn’t a complete nightmare if you’re driving, which anyone who’s navigated Belgrade’s old town will tell you is basically a miracle. Honestly, with a 9.7 rating, I was expecting to find some catch, some reason it couldn’t be that good – but sometimes a place just executes the basics really well and creates something special in the process.

What Our Guests Say
Clean, friendly, super well equipped and the decoration and location were pleasing. We Loved our time here. Thank You.
What could be improved: -
It was super clean and it had everything we needed, including extra blankets. The host was super nice and helpful!
What could be improved: There were dead insects in the staircase leading to the apartment and in the hallway, but that wasn’t the host’s fault!
Snezana is an excellent hostess, she met us on arrival, explained everything and took care of required registration. Polite, accommodating, helpful, down to business and there when we had questions. Apartment was perfect for our short stay, it is thought through in terms of comfort and convenience of everything and was equipped with absolutely everything we could possibly need. Quiet street, but short walk from Belgrade city centre and amazing park and zoo (we were totally impressed and would highly recommend visiting)
We would certainly stay again at Evergreen (ps: the green colours were actually very pleasant)
The apartment was amazing, it was clean and all the forniture was in perfect conditiion. The location of the apartment is perfect in town. And the host Snežana is a great host Always helping with the booking before doing the check in and during our stay
It is a very clean, cozy and comfortable place with everything I needed to feel as at home.
It is located very close to the city center, but in a quite street and noone and nothing bothered me. Also there are a lot of great cafes, bars and restaurants in that area + 24/7 Maxi in 5 minutes by walking.
The apartment has a small balcony with a pleasant view of the greenery street and I really enjoyed it.
Snezana is excellent host, very friendly and helpfull. Communication was very easy.
+ my thanks for welcome-drinks:)
I highly recommend this place!
What could be improved: There is no elevator in the building. It was not a problem for me, but take it into account if it's important for you.
Top location, super quite, clean. The condo is decorated in the manner that it feels warm, and you have everything you need in.
Snezana is great host.
We had a lovely stay in Belgrade, and a good part of that was because of staying here. The check-in process was smooth, just a doorbell away as the host lives next door.
From there, everything was very pleasant, the property has all we needed for a short stay - but I could imagine staying longer.
It was quiet, the internet was fast, the location was fantastic. We'll be surely back!
What could be improved: There were no stairs to the third floor - only an issue on the first and last days.
The shower didn't get as well maintained as the other parts of the flat.
Super clean, the location perfect, near to everything , the owner Snezana so sweet and helpful 🙂
The best in Belgrade!!
Super nice host, excellent central location.
What could be improved: Everything is really great, just know that it’s 3rd floor with no lift.
