Very nice place to stay in the city center of old Belgrade.

Downtown Skadarlija
You know what struck me first about Downtown Skadarlija?
You know what struck me first about Downtown Skadarlija? It’s tucked away on this quiet side street – Cetinjska – but you’re literally a three-minute walk from all the action on Skadarska, the cobblestone strip everyone calls Belgrade’s Montmartre. I mean, you get the best of both worlds here: you can stumble back from dinner at Tri Šešira without dealing with tourist noise all night, but you’re close enough to hear the occasional accordion drifting over from the kafanas when the wind’s right.
The building itself has this understated elegance that actually works – it’s not trying too hard to be boutique-y, but it’s definitely not your standard business hotel either. Check-in was smooth (they speak excellent English, which honestly isn’t always a given in Belgrade), and the lobby has these rich wood accents that feel substantial without being stuffy. My room on the third floor had this surprisingly spacious bathroom – I’m talking proper counter space and a shower that didn’t require contortionist skills – plus the bed was firm in that European way that somehow leaves you feeling more rested than those marshmallow mattresses back home. The 8.9 rating makes sense once you’re there; it’s the kind of place where small details are handled well without making a big show of it.
What I really appreciated was how the staff seemed to actually know the neighborhood. When I asked about breakfast spots beyond the hotel’s own setup, the desk clerk didn’t just point me toward the tourist traps – she mentioned this little bakery on Dušanova where locals grab burek on their way to work, and a café tucked behind the Orthodox cathedral that makes proper Turkish coffee. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle in Stari Grad (old town streets weren’t exactly designed for cars), but they’ve got arrangements with a garage nearby, and honestly, once you’re settled in, you won’t need the car much anyway. The location puts you within walking distance of Kalemegdan Park, the Danube riverfront, and all those winding streets full of antique shops and art galleries that make Belgrade’s old quarter actually worth exploring. It’s the kind of place where you end up staying an extra day just because it feels like a proper base for getting under the city’s skin, rather than just hitting the obvious sights and moving on.

What could be improved: Nothing critical but worth fixing:
The kettle was covered with thick layer of scale inside

Little supply of dishwashing liquid, toilet paper, no trash bags available
Strong smell of aroma diffuser
Everything was amazing, the apartment was clean and modern, location is excellent.
The host was incredible, one of the best experiences we've had so far. She was responsive and helpful, incredibly nice.
What could be improved: Nothing, everything was up to standard.
It is a great apartment for a short stay. We were group of three female friends and we had pleasent stay. The host Katarina is realy kind and available all the time for any requests. Recommending it!
The facility we stayed in was clean, tidy and adequate. Since it was in the city center, we walked everywhere. Katarina contacted us. She was very kind, answered all our questions politely. I forgot my ring and earrings when we checked out, she sent them to me by cargo. What a courtesy!

Very clean nice apartment with 2 bedrooms.
Great contact with Katarina! She was incredibly friendly, answering all my questions before the arrival and sharing all the necessary information about the convenient check-in process (which went well without any issues). Fast and easy contact via the booking app or WhatsApp during our stay as well! The apartment was well-equipped, and the amenities inside were well-thought-out. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the decor inside created a cozy atmosphere. The location of the apartment was great, close to Skadarlija street, with easy access to public transportation. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone—10/10!
