Check-in was smooth, they’re flexible about luggage storage if you arrive early – small things that matter when you’re dealing with flight delays and dragging suitcase wheels over cobblestones. The building itself sits perfectly positioned so you get the full Old Town atmosphere without the worst of the weekend night noise from the main pedestrian zones. You’ll hear some street life, sure, but it’s more charming old-city sounds than obnoxious party chaos. Parking can be tricky in this part of Belgrade – I mean, it’s medieval streets, what do you expect – but they’ll point you toward the closest options that won’t break the bank. Walking distance to everything that matters: Republic Square, the fortress, those riverside restaurants along the Danube where locals actually eat. It’s one of those rare finds where the high rating actually makes sense once you’re there.
