Location-wise, you’re about a fifteen-minute tram ride from Slavija Square, and the stop is literally a three-minute walk from the front door. The neighborhood has that authentic Belgrade feel without being completely disconnected from everything – there’s a decent grocery store nearby, a pharmacy that stays open late, and this family-run restaurant called Kod Mire where the ćevapi is actually better than what you’ll find in the tourist zones (and costs about half as much). Parking can be tricky during the day, but evenings and weekends are fine if you’re renting a car. The building itself is quiet – I stayed there during a weekend in October and never heard neighbors, which is pretty remarkable for an apartment building. Check-in was smooth, no awkward key exchanges or hunting around for the right entrance. With a 9.7 rating, I expected it to be good, but sometimes those numbers don’t tell the whole story. This time they do – it’s one of those places that just works without any drama, which is exactly what you want when you’re exploring a city like Belgrade.
