Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to Darvinova 3 – it’s this quiet residential street in Voždovac that most tourists never see. But that’s actually what makes Lazic Apartment so brilliant. You’re staying in a proper Belgrade neighborhood where people actually live, not some sterile hotel district. The building itself has that solid, unpretentious Serbian architecture you see all over this part of the city, and when you walk in, it just feels… well, like someone’s really nice home rather than a place that’s been decorated by committee.
The apartment itself is spotless – I mean, genuinely spotless in that way that tells you the owners actually care about this place. Everything works properly (you know how rare that can be), the Wi-Fi doesn’t cut out every ten minutes, and there’s proper blackout curtains if you’re one of those people who can’t sleep with any light. What really got me though was how thoughtfully it’s set up. There’s actually decent coffee in the kitchen, not those terrible instant packets most places leave you with, and the shower has proper water pressure – honestly, after a day walking around Kalemegdan or dealing with Belgrade’s summer heat, that matters more than you’d think. The whole place just feels like someone who travels a lot designed it for other people who travel a lot.
Location-wise, you’re perfectly positioned without being in the chaos of the city center. Voždovac has this lived-in feel that I really love – there’s a fantastic bakery about two blocks away where you can grab burek for breakfast (trust me on this), and you’re close enough to hop on public transport when you want to head to Knez Mihailova or the fortress. The neighborhood gets properly quiet at night, which is gold if you’re trying to recover from Belgrade’s legendary nightlife. I stayed here during late spring when the city gets busy with tourists, and while central Belgrade was absolutely packed, coming back to Darvinova felt like retreating to your own little corner of the city. The 9.9 rating honestly doesn’t surprise me – it’s one of those places where you can tell the hosts have figured out all the little things that make a stay actually comfortable rather than just acceptable. You’ll sleep well here, and in Belgrade, that’s saying something.

Everything was perfect . The communication with the host was excellent . The apartment is located in a peaceful area but there is a mall close by where you can find everything you need and it’s a 2 min walk from the public transportation. The aadtment is clean , well equiped and spacious . Highly recommend it.
Very clean, modern apartment. It is well equipped with all the stuff you need for a family stay (kitchen, bathroom). Peaceful neighbourhood and dedicated parking space, which is hard to find in Belgrade.

Svaka slika koju sam video na internetu bila je tačna. Smeštaj je bio čist, udoban i jako dobro opremljen. Domaćin je bio izuzetno ljubazan, što je učinilo boravak još ugodnijim. Lokacija je bila savršena - blizu šoping centra, ali dovoljno tiha za miran odmor. Definitivno preporučujem ovaj smeštaj svima koji traže udoban i prijatan boravak sa obezbeđenim parking mestom!
