This place is anchored right at Ušće, where the Sava meets the Danube, and you know what? Waking up to the sound of gentle water lapping against the hull while looking out at New Belgrade’s skyline is actually pretty magical. The location is perfect if you’re familiar with the area – you’re literally floating next to Ušće Shopping Center (which is super handy for grabbing essentials), and it’s just a short walk across the bridge to get into the heart of old Belgrade.
What really impressed me was how they’ve managed to make the rooms feel genuinely spacious despite being on water. I mean, I was expecting cramped boat cabins, but these are proper apartments with full kitchens and surprisingly stable floors – you barely feel the gentle rocking unless you’re really paying attention. The design is modern without being sterile, and there’s something oddly soothing about falling asleep to the subtle movement of the river. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too, though I’d recommend arriving during daylight hours since finding the exact dock entrance can be a bit tricky after dark (there’s adequate lighting, but the area around Blok 14 has quite a few similar-looking access points).
The thing that sets this place apart – beyond the obvious novelty of sleeping on water – is how quiet it actually gets at night. You’d think being so close to the city center would mean traffic noise, but the water creates this natural sound barrier that’s incredibly peaceful. During the day, you’ll see locals jogging along the riverside paths and families feeding the ducks, which gives you a real sense of everyday Belgrade life rather than just the tourist bubble. Parking is straightforward on the nearby streets, and honestly, the 8.6 rating makes total sense once you experience it. It’s not luxury in the traditional sense, but it’s something genuinely different that works really well. If you’re looking for a unique stay in Belgrade that’s still practical and comfortable, this floating dream actually delivers on its promise.

Fantastic staff. There isn't a restaurant, but the girl at the bar ordered food delivery for us. Great view from the terrace. The apartman was OK!
What could be improved: The parking area is very far from the place (700-800 m). It can be a problem for thoose people who have problem with walking (like me at that time). I think they need a small electric car to manage this type stuations.
ArkaBark is a very cute place with an alternative vibe located on the Danube. The location is perfect with everything within a 15-minute bus ride. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Breakfast options were excellent. We very much liked that there was ajvar and burek available. The room was spacious, and the bed was comfortable. The AC units are new, so the rooms were cooled down fast. Overall good value for money.
I need to say that you need to be aware that, especially on the weekends, the music from bars/clubs will be loud until late at night. Therefore , bring a pair of earplugs. The free parking lot nearby (<10 min walk) is under video surveillance, which is great and definitely eased our minds.
What could be improved: Overall, the cleanliness of the room could be improved. There were a couple of huge spiders and spiderwebs around the room. Although nothing unusual since the hostel is in the middle of the park, it could have been taken care of. The extra bed had crumbs all over it. The silicone in the shower needs to be replaced on a couple of spots.

Excellent location, perfect morning with Birds, ducks and swans. Also we had a guard in the face of a cat staying in our Terrace all the time 🐈
The welcoming was way better than expected. I could feel the warm of Serbia on our Check in.
Lastly, the beer that they suggested become my favourite one 😅
What could be improved: We were not expecting much, but the air conditioning was not properly working on the second day. It was like sauna in the room with 30+ C outside.
The second thing was with the parking that is around 400-500 meters from the place. As we had a lots of luggage 🧳 it was not a good experience.
The apartment was perfect and the private balcony a really nice touch!

Very nice experience, the view of the Danube river is unforgettable. The location is very approachable, there is a free parking near, 10min walking, and to go to the city centar, the bus station is only 2min away.
Staff is very friendly and helpful, the room was big and very comfortable. There is a nice breakfast included.
We were with a 3 year old, and she enjoyed the experience sleeping on the river. Definitely will visit it again!
Friendly staff, amazing location, comfortable clean rooms, and great breakfast! I loved sitting out on the balcony watching the birds on the river.
It was really easy to navigate around the city. There is a bus station nearby. The public transportation is free and 2 stops away from the center. The danube river view was amazing, perfect for a relaxing holiday (even had a chance to communicate with the ducks on danube <3)we had a very good breakfast. the facilities were also okay. The working staff had a really good communication. They have air conditioners in each room, working perfectly. Definitely recommended.
What could be improved: You might have to walk a little bit for free parking lot, like 5 minutes inside the park. But I think that’s acceptable with parking situation in Belgrade, and the location is a riverside.
The staff were really helpful, we had a late arrival. We contacted them and they had everything ready. The views to the river are very nice and the rooms are comfortable and warm.
