Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of places around Belgrade, and Apartment Mina honestly caught me off guard – in the best way possible. It’s tucked right on Karađorđeva, which if you know Belgrade at all, puts you in this sweet spot where old meets new. You’re literally a five-minute walk from Kalemegdan Park (the fortress), but also close enough to the trendy Savamala district that you can stumble back from those late-night rakija sessions without breaking the bank on taxis.
The apartment itself feels like someone’s stylish friend let you crash at their place, except everything actually works perfectly. I mean, the Wi-Fi doesn’t cut out every ten minutes like half the places I’ve stayed, and the shower has proper water pressure – you know what I’m talking about if you’ve done the Balkans budget accommodation circuit. What really got me was the attention to small stuff: there’s actually decent coffee in the kitchen (not those tiny packets of instant), the towels don’t feel like sandpaper, and the bed is legitimately comfortable, not just “okay for a few nights.” The windows face away from the main street traffic, so you’re not dealing with Belgrade’s… enthusiastic… driving culture at 6 AM.
Here’s what nobody tells you about this area though – you’re walking distance from some incredible local spots that most tourists never find. There’s this bakery called Hleb & Kifle just around the corner where locals queue up every morning, and honestly, their burek is better than the touristy places near Republic Square. The 72 bus stops practically outside your door, which connects you to everything without having to navigate Belgrade’s somewhat creative taxi pricing. Parking can be tricky during weekdays (it’s that central), but evenings and weekends aren’t bad if you’re driving. The building itself is quiet – I was worried about noise since it’s so central, but the other tenants seem to be a mix of young professionals and older residents who keep things civilized. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too; none of that “meet me at this random café with cash” situation you sometimes get with apartment rentals. The hosts actually respond to messages quickly and seem to genuinely care about the place, which shows in all those little details that make a 9.8 rating make sense.

много продуманных мелочей, которые редко встретишь в квартирах под сдачу. например, ночная подсветка, инфракрасный обогреватель в душе. мандариновое дерево встречает у входа. доброжелательная хозяйка, неназойливая. Есть письменный стол удобный для работы и кресло, хороший интернет. Можно и вдвоем, так как второй человек может поработать на кухне, там тоже есть (помимо кухонного) раскладной рабочий стол. выдают краткую инструкцию, где что есть поблизости. Есть комиксы и журналы, путеводитель, есть чем заняться. Есть телевизор с кабельными каналами и музыкальный центр, я их не включал, так как было не до этого - гулял по городу: в непосредственной близости центральная набережная.
What could be improved: нужно быть аккуратнее с балкой у входа, так как мансардный этаж, потолки не ровные. Это был единственный недостаток, остальные впечатления его сгладили.

For those who want nostalgic Soviet-type apartment experience, this is very good accommodation. But the facility is modern, an air conditioner works very well, so it is not Soviet-type, but only seemingly such one.
The outer walls have been renovated, but the outer walls on the inner garden side remain in a state of disrepair. This is not an obstacle to living in the house, but it might be better to know beforehand.
The lift is of traditional Soviet construction, with a retrofit between two buildings and a crosswalk between the buildings. It is, of course, of the double-door type.
Anyway, I enjoyed the stay here.
What could be improved: A late check-out was initially agreed, but two days before the check-out, Mina, the owner, informed that late check-out was impossible as the next guests would be arriving. This is not a hotel, so it was possible. I should have booked an extra night by myself and considered the extra night as a late check-out fee. I think it is inexpensive enough that this would not be a problem.
Nevertheless, I have stayed in a variety of flats, both on Airbnb and booking.com, and this is the first time that a pre-agreed late check-out has been cancelled, which was more than a little confusing. If I was told in advance that it was not blocked, I would have added an extra night beforehand.
Very unique apartment in even more unique building!
We were there during 2 Rammstein concerts. Everyone else had ,, technical problem " and canceled the booking in order to get more money except Mina. She was the only one that was fair and didn`t raise the price even though she was well aware of the 2 concerts. That tells you a lot about what type of host she is. The location is 100m from the bus station. Mina is available and responsive on calls and messages. You have all the essentials in the apartment even iron. The room is on the back side of the building and there is no noise at all. I recommend Mina`s apartment 10/10. Next time traveling to Belgrade I would definitely stay here again if available.
The place is really nice. It’s an old building with a history, which was renovated. The apartment has everything you need. The hosts were super helpful and did all necessary paperwork for us - we needed бели картон from the police station and it wasn’t a problem at all.
What could be improved: Everything was great. The only thing, I’m 1.9 meter and there were 2 spots where I had to be careful to not bump the ceiling with my head
It’s a very cool apartment with a very pleasant host. You can find everything what you want inside and even use coffee machine.
The atmosphere inside is cosy, you can contemplate interior’s things which are plenty amount and enjoy flowers.
The location is quite good, near the bus station.
What could be improved: Wi-Fi connection is not very stable. It’s possible to work but video calls could lag.
I like everything I see in this house!! What a lovely, stylish , vintage and sweet home to live:)) this house was very very clean, smelling perfect! The host was so friendly and helpful, you can find everything you need in the house, perfect decorations, lovely small but quiet relaxing house, the location was great, very near to airport by a taxi, very closed to downtown… well prepared..
What could be improved: There is nothing bad to stay!
