You know what struck me first about the Allure of Belgrade? The location is absolutely perfect, and I mean that in the most practical way possible. You’re right on Obilicev venac in Stari Grad – honestly, you couldn’t ask for a better spot to explore the old town. I’m talking about a genuine five-minute walk to Kalemegdan Fortress, and you can practically roll out of bed and be at some of Belgrade’s best kafanas.
The apartment itself is surprisingly spacious at 80 square meters, which actually feels generous when you’re used to cramped European hotel rooms. The whole place has this modern-meets-traditional Serbian vibe that doesn’t feel forced or touristy. What I really appreciated were the little touches – proper blackout curtains (trust me, you’ll need them if you’re planning to experience Belgrade’s legendary nightlife), a kitchen that’s actually functional if you want to grab groceries from the nearby market, and honestly, the best shower pressure I’ve encountered in the Balkans. The Wi-Fi is solid too, which matters if you’re trying to upload all those fortress sunset photos.
Here’s what locals won’t tell you but I will – this neighborhood gets lively, especially on weekends, but it’s the good kind of lively. You’ll hear some street music and conversations drifting up from the cobblestones below, but it never felt intrusive or kept me awake. Actually, it sort of adds to the whole Belgrade experience. Parking can be tricky around here (like most of old Belgrade), but the hosts were incredibly helpful with suggestions. Check-in was smooth – none of that awkward key-hunting drama you sometimes get with apartment rentals. The 9.7 rating makes complete sense once you’ve stayed there; it’s one of those places where everything just works the way it should. I mean, you’re literally in the heart of one of Europe’s most underrated capitals, in a space that feels like a stylish local friend’s apartment rather than a sterile hotel room. If you’re the type who wants to actually experience Belgrade rather than just pass through it, this is exactly where you want to be.

Konum çok iyiydi . Her yere yürüyerek ulaştık. Mario çok ilgiliydi. Her sorduğumuz soruda bize hemen döndü. İhtiyacımız olan her şey vardı. Çok rahat ettik. Evin bulunduğu sokakta çok güzel kafeler vardı. Yemekler ve kahvaltılar süperdi. Merkezin tam ortasındaydık.

Perfect location with everything in walking distance. Good size rooms and nice touch providing tea, coffee, and milk. You’re close to the restaurants but can barely hear anything from the apartment. Really clean and tidy and prompt replies from the host, Mario who could not do enough for us. We would definitely stay here again.
The location of this apartment can't be beat. It is right in the center of the city, with numerous restaurants surrounding it. If you are driving, the big garage (Obilicev Venac Garage) is literally few steps away. If you get out of the garage at the 5th floor, you're probably about 30 steps away from the entrance.
The apartment is on the 5th floor, but it has an elevator. Very clean and large place.
The keys are easily accessible, and the host was wonderful.

The location of the property was great and there is a paid parking just over the pedestrian street which was also very convenient. The appartement was spacious and the sights of Belgrade's sunset were beautiful. I have to mention the bed was very comfortable.
What could be improved: The building where the appartment is located is poorly managed and in general bad shape.
There was a bit of annoying noises from one of the decorative windows in the building hall as well as from a pigeon colony in the atrium of the building.
Great location, staff were friendly and easy going. The room was very spacious and the bathroom was well appointed
What could be improved: All three beds had a big lump in the middle so you were inclined to roll in the night off the bed.
Exceptionally clean and comfortable on top of an amazing location in the heart of it all! Couldn't have asked for better! Wonderful owners who were extremely accommodating. Highly recommend.
The property was very spacious, centrally located and had everything you could possibly need. I would highly recommend this apartment for anyone visiting Belgrade
What could be improved: Nothing
The apartment located literally in the middle of the city. On the 5th floor, so far enough away from the noise of the street-life. Clean, comfortable, very well equipped with a very kind and easy-going host. Absolutely recommended.
What could be improved: Ok, the building is a shabby socreal but it's rather a feature which belongs to this part of Europe...:)
The owner Mario is extremely helpful and kind. The location is amazing, 2 mins walk to Republic Square and 5mins walk from kalemegdan Park. The apartment is very well equipped, has dish washer, microwave, stove, washing machine etc. And all cutlery needed. The rooms are spacious. Apartment was very clean. All restaurants and supermarkets nearby, Just under the building. Apartment interiors are done well
What could be improved: Elevator is small, building is old.
More Hangers in wash room would be good. If room curtains are alered to the correct length would add on to the look.
In general nothing major that would discourage from booking it
