There’s this little bakery around the corner that opens early (the smell of fresh bread drifts down the street around 7 AM), and you’ve got a proper grocery store within walking distance – crucial if you’re planning to use that kitchen. Plus, getting to Skadarlija or down to the Danube is easy from here, whether you’re walking or grabbing a taxi. Parking can be a bit tricky in this neighborhood, but honestly, that’s Belgrade for you – and if you’re staying here, you probably don’t need a car anyway. The whole setup just makes sense for people who want to experience the city like locals do, not rush between tourist checkboxes. I’ve stayed in fancier places that felt more like hotel rooms, but this actually feels like a home base in Belgrade.
