What could be improved: The only small issue is the fact that you don’t have a code for the main entrance and you have to use keys from your room, so If there is two or more people in the apartment, you always have to go out from the room to let them come inside of building.

Look, I'll be straight with you about Up Apartments – this place totally surprised me in the best way possible.
Look, I’ll be straight with you about Up Apartments – this place totally surprised me in the best way possible. When I first pulled up to Skadarska 15, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect from the exterior, but once you’re inside, it’s a completely different story. The location is actually perfect if you want to experience Belgrade like a local rather than just another tourist. You’re literally steps away from Skadarlija street (you know, the cobblestone bohemian quarter everyone talks about), but here’s the thing most people don’t realize – you’re positioned just far enough from the main drag that you won’t have drunk tourists stumbling around under your window at 2 AM. I mean, you’ll still hear some nightlife buzz, but it’s more like a gentle hum of the city rather than chaos.
What really got me was how thoughtfully designed these apartments are. The folks running this place clearly understand what travelers actually need – and I’m not talking about fancy marble countertops or whatever. The kitchens are properly equipped (like, you can actually cook a real meal if you want to), the Wi-Fi doesn’t cut out every five minutes, and honestly, the beds are surprisingly comfortable. The whole vibe feels more like staying at a well-organized friend’s place than a sterile hotel room. Plus, the building itself has this cool industrial-meets-modern aesthetic that somehow works perfectly in this part of Stari Grad. Check-in was refreshingly smooth too – none of that awkward hovering around reception for twenty minutes while they figure out your booking.
Here’s what you should know about the neighborhood though – mornings are absolutely lovely for walking around with coffee (there’s this little bakery about two blocks down that locals actually go to), but evenings can get pretty lively, especially on weekends. If you’re the type who goes to bed at 9 PM, maybe consider bringing earplugs, though honestly, the energy is part of what makes staying here so special. You’re genuinely in the heart of where things happen in Belgrade. The tram connections are solid if you need to get around the city, and – this is important – parking isn’t the nightmare it is in some parts of the old town. That 8.8 rating makes total sense to me because while it’s not trying to be some luxury resort experience, it absolutely nails what it’s going for. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re living in Belgrade for a few days rather than just passing through, and honestly, that’s worth way more than fancy amenities you’ll never use.

What Our Guests Say
The location of the apartment is amazing - right on the main street in Belgrade, making everything easily accessible. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless as well. Overall, a great stay!
The appartment is in a great location for night life, a really cute street full of restaurants. It's clean and light.
What could be improved: A bit noisy overlooking the garden, with people drinking and smoking and a kid shouting
Cleanest apartment I have ever been at, great staff, best location, nice back yard for smoking
I love location, friendly personal and comfortable room.
What could be improved: I think room has a bad sound isolation, so I heard voices from a hall and a corridor.
Сool place in the center, located on a party street, but it doesn't interfere with sleep. Сlean, quick check-in at late times
Clean, spacious room. Good location. Nice people at reception.
What could be improved: Would be nice to have some water and slippers in the room.
The design of their one bedroom apartment is so chic and posh. I really recommend this especially as it is located in the heart of Belgrade where you can shop, eat and walk. They reception is so helpful to print my bus ticket.
What could be improved: Nothing.
Everything was ecxelent. The rooms were clean, accomodoation big enuogh for two. Beds are so comfortable that we had a good sleep and rest. Although in center od Skadarlija we had a peacefull and quiet night. It is in the center of Skadarlija what could you ask more. The stuff is at your swrvice 24/7.
Parking is a bit further in other street and you have to pay for it. But thats the cost if you want to stay in Skadarlija.
It's morden, clean, right in the cinter. Saff is friendly and really helpful. Really enjoyed the place🤗
