You know what caught me off guard about Triangle City Apartment 1? It’s tucked away on this quiet stretch of Starine Novaka in Palilula, and honestly, I wasn’t expecting much from the name – sounds pretty corporate, right? But walking up to number 16, the building has this solid, unpretentious feel that immediately put me at ease. None of that flashy hotel lobby nonsense, just a well-maintained entrance that whispers “locals live here too.”
The apartment itself is genuinely spacious – I mean, you can actually spread out your stuff without playing Tetris with your luggage. What I really appreciated was how they’ve managed to keep it feeling like a proper Belgrade home while making sure everything works the way travelers need it to. The kitchen’s actually functional (not one of those sad hotel kitchenettes), and the Wi-Fi doesn’t mysteriously disappear every time someone in the neighboring unit starts streaming. The whole place has this lived-in comfort that makes you want to grab some groceries from the local market and cook dinner instead of eating out every night. Speaking of groceries – there’s a solid pijaca (market) about a ten-minute walk away where you’ll hear more Serbian than English, which is exactly what you want.
Palilula gets overlooked by most tourists rushing between the fortress and Skadarlija, but that’s honestly their loss. You’re close enough to hop on public transport and be in the city center within 20 minutes, but far enough out that you’re not dealing with the weekend party crowds stumbling around at 3 AM. The neighborhood has this authentic residential vibe – kids playing in courtyards, older folks chatting on benches, the kind of Belgrade rhythm you miss when you’re staying right in the tourist zone. I actually found myself looking forward to the walk back each evening, especially during that golden hour when the whole area gets bathed in warm light. The only minor thing – and I’m being picky here – is that the check-in process took a bit longer than expected, but the host was genuinely helpful and even drew me a little map of local spots worth visiting. With that 8.8 rating, you can tell other people have figured out what I did: sometimes the best places are the ones that don’t try too hard to impress you, they just deliver exactly what you need.

The owner of the apartment was incredibly welcoming, interested in how things were going and offered to help. The apartment itself is incredibly stylish and modern, it was in perfect cleanliness, the design and coziness were top notch. The location is great, close to the park, stores and restaurants.
That was perfect area for my long stay. Everything is reachable by walking 20 min. The apartment has everything I needed, and special attention to the details like hairdryer, cotton balls, etc. Host is amazing.

The host was absolutely fantastic! Not only was she incredibly accessible, but her warmth and friendliness were truly exceptional. She went above and beyond by not only helping us discover fantastic dining options but also offering a plethora of exciting activities to explore.
The accommodation itself is perfectly situated in a central location, mirroring the images provided precisely, and boasting impeccable cleanliness. An outstanding experience all around!
Perfect location (grocery stores, bistros, McDonald's, you could get pretty much anywhere in Belgrade from this place by a few minutes of walking and a bus or a tram); apartment has a cozy vibe to it; robust kitchenette; really nice host (no problems with check-in whatsoever)
Everything was great! All the facilities are there, including air conditioner, coffee machine, iron and ironing desk. The only thing I might have added is microwave, but you can always go for warming up things on the kitchen stove! The host also helped me with additional questions I add on m arrival re finding closest supermarket and money exchange for a local currency.
