The apartment I stayed in had these really nice touches that you don’t usually see in hotels, like proper kitchen equipment (not just a sad mini-fridge) and furniture that actually looks like someone lives there. The bathroom was spotless with great water pressure, which honestly matters more than people admit when you’re dealing with Belgrade’s sometimes unpredictable plumbing situation.

You know what really sold me on this place though? The location is absolutely perfect for actually experiencing Belgrade, not just tourist-trapping yourself. You can walk to Kalemegdan in about ten minutes, but you’re also close enough to Skadarlija that you’ll hear live music floating through the streets on weekend evenings. Plus – and this is huge if you’re planning to explore – you’re right near public transport connections, so getting to New Belgrade or Zemun is actually doable without spending a fortune on taxis. The staff clearly knows the neighborhood well too; they gave me directions to a fantastic bakery on a side street that I never would have found otherwise. Check-in was smooth, no weird rules about keys or timing, and they were genuinely helpful about restaurant recommendations without pushing the obvious tourist spots. At a 9.1 rating, it’s definitely earning those points honestly – this isn’t just a place to crash, it’s actually a great base for getting to know Belgrade properly.
