The staff behind the desk looked like they actually wanted to be there, which honestly isn’t always a given in Belgrade hotels. Check-in was smooth, and the woman helping me threw in some local recommendations without me even asking (she steered me toward a fantastic kafana about ten minutes away that I never would’ve found otherwise).

The room itself? Well, let’s just say that 9.9 rating isn’t inflated. Floor-to-ceiling windows give you this expansive view over Novi Beograd, and if you’re on a higher floor, you can actually see the Danube threading through the city. The bed was one of those where you sink in just enough without feeling like you’re being swallowed whole — I’m pretty particular about mattresses after years of travel disasters. What really got me though were the small touches: USB ports exactly where you need them, blackout curtains that actually block light (revolutionary concept, I know), and a bathroom with water pressure that could strip paint. The kitchenette was surprisingly well-equipped too — not just the usual sad mini-fridge and broken coffee maker, but actual cookware if you want to grab groceries from the nearby Maxi market.

Location-wise, you’re right in the heart of modern Belgrade without the tourist crowds that swarm around Kalemegdan. Omladinskih brigada isn’t the prettiest street name to pronounce, but it’s perfectly positioned — you can walk to the Sava Center in about fifteen minutes, and the Delta City shopping complex is close enough for those inevitable “I forgot to pack…” moments. The neighborhood gets quiet at night, which I appreciated after some louder stays in Stari Grad. Parking was actually included (they have an underground garage), which saved me the headache of hunting for street spots. The only minor thing — and I’m really reaching here — is that the elevators can get a bit slow during busy periods, but honestly, that’s about as serious as my complaints get. If you’re looking for that sweet spot between modern comfort and reasonable location without paying Old Town premium prices, this place delivers. I’ve stayed here twice now, and I’m already planning my third visit.
