Sky City View Apartment & big terrace
You know what caught me off guard about Sky City View?
You know what caught me off guard about Sky City View? The name actually undersells it. I mean, yeah, there’s a great view of Belgrade’s skyline from that massive terrace they mentioned, but honestly, it’s the little things that made this place stick with me. The apartment sits on Vatoslava Lisinskog street in Palilula – and if you’re not familiar with this part of Belgrade, it’s sort of this perfect sweet spot where you’re close enough to everything but far enough from the tourist chaos of Knez Mihailova.
The terrace is genuinely huge, like bigger than most Belgrade apartments huge. I spent way too many evenings out there with a rakija watching the city lights come on. The apartment itself feels more like staying at a friend’s place than a typical hotel setup – there’s actual personality in the decor, not that sterile chain hotel vibe. What really impressed me was how quiet it gets at night, which is rare for Belgrade. You’re maybe a 15-minute walk from Tasmajdan Park, and the whole Palilula area has this residential feel that most visitors never experience. The locals around here are genuinely friendly too – there’s a little bakery just down the street where the owner started recognizing me after day two.
Parking was surprisingly easy, which anyone who’s driven in Belgrade will tell you is basically a miracle. The check-in was smooth, no weird key-passing ceremonies or confusing instructions. I actually appreciated that they didn’t hover – just gave me the rundown and let me settle in. The 9.2 rating makes total sense once you’re there; it’s not trying to be fancy, it’s just really well done. The Wi-Fi actually works (shocking, I know), the shower has proper water pressure, and the kitchen is stocked with everything you’d actually need, not just the bare minimum. If I’m being picky, the street can get a bit lively on weekend mornings – but that’s Belgrade for you, and honestly, it adds to the authentic experience. This isn’t some sanitized hotel bubble; you’re actually staying in the city, hearing the real rhythm of the place. For the price point and location, especially with that terrace, it’s the kind of spot I’d book again without hesitation.

What Our Guests Say
The apartment was great, located close to the Old Belgrade. It was clean and cosy, just as on the pictures. It contained all needed for a stay and felt like at home.
The LIDL next to it was very convenient.
The owner came very quickly after we notified her.
Very nice, cozy and home-like place to stay.
It is a very comfortable and clean apartment, there is everything you might need inside, you can just go in your clothes! It's in the city center! The Lidl market is right next door! It has a small coffee bar across the street and before I could even drink the tea the manager Lily came over! Thanks!
What could be improved: The bath towel is of poor quality, I stuffed it with lint and showered again. Luckily I had my own towel! It has no parking, I parked on the street freely at my own risk.
Location is good.
Have a lot of books for kids.
What could be improved: Need one more air conditioner. Durring stay one all day haven't a water.
Convenied location. Many interesting books for kids, good internet and TV. Convenied beds. Boiler
What could be improved: Bare wird socket in hallway! Noisy upstairs neighbor knocking at night. Broken toilet button.
Really nice big and clean apartment. My favorite place was the terrace for morning coffee. We had everything for our stay. The host was so kind person.
What could be improved: Nothing
The apartment was very clean and the washing machine/drier combo was functional, which made our stay easy. The location is within walkable distance from the central square and is only 50 metres from a supermarket, which comes in very handy to buy food and drinks.
What could be improved: The apartment gets very hot during the day (starting from the morning), and there is no A/C in the bedroom, so that room remains much hotter as the only A/C in the living room cannot manage to also cool down the bedroom.
Nice apartment in a good area of Belgrade very close to good stores and diverse bus transport to city center. Only 10 minutes walk to city center or 2 stops by bus. Nicely furnished and comfortable.
The place had everyrhing you need, it is comfortable and everyrhing is 15 to 20 minutes on foot reachable.
