It sits on Hercegovačka Street in Savski Venac, and honestly, if you know Belgrade at all, you’ll appreciate how this puts you right in the sweet spot between the old town charm and the business district energy.
The thing about this place is it gets the details right in ways that matter when you’re actually staying somewhere. The rooms have this modern elegance thing going on – I mean, it’s clearly a 4-star property, but they’ve avoided that generic hotel chain feel completely. The beds are genuinely comfortable (not just Instagram-pretty), and the bathrooms have proper water pressure, which… well, anyone who’s traveled through the Balkans knows that’s not always a given. What I really appreciated was the soundproofing – Hercegovačka can get busy during the day, but once you’re inside, it’s properly quiet. The AC works without sounding like a jet engine, and there are enough outlets placed where you actually need them.
Location-wise, you’re about a 10-minute walk to Knez Mihailova pedestrian zone, which is perfect because you can easily wander over for dinner or drinks without dealing with parking (good luck with that in central Belgrade). The Sava riverfront is close enough for morning runs if that’s your thing, and you’ve got solid restaurant options within a couple blocks – not just the touristy spots, but places where locals actually eat. I noticed the front desk staff genuinely know the neighborhood and can point you toward the good stuff rather than just handing you a generic city map. Check-in was smooth, no drama, and they seem to run a tight ship without being uptight about it. The 8.7 rating feels about right – it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in Belgrade, but it delivers on what it promises consistently. If you want something that feels authentically Belgrade while still having all the modern comforts sorted, this hits that balance really well.

What could be improved: 1. There are so many construction now it was so loud but windows were blocking the noise pretty well.
2. Unknown smelly at the drain part of the bathroom

You can't really hold window open for long time since there is a bridge with tram passing which causing a lot of noice, but there is AC option which is good.

What could be improved: Some smell from time to time in bathroom
We stayed for one night only. The apartment was very clean. The instructions we received were super clear. We had no problem checking in, parking our car in the assigned space or connecting to the WiFi. The apartment has a very nice view of the Sava river and is located in the Belgrade Waterfront area, which means you are very close to various sights. There are cafes and bakeries around if you want to get something for breakfast. Overall we were very satisfied with the accommodation and the price was fair.
What could be improved: For a stay longer than 1-2 days having a small fridge in the apartment would be nice. Also we found that the pillows were too thin for our taste. Other than that everything was perfect.
