You know what really struck me about The Location Hotel? The name is almost laughably straightforward, but honestly – it’s perfect. This 4-star spot sits right on Kneginje Ljubice street in Stari Grad, and I mean *right* in the thick of things. When I first walked up to number 25, I was expecting another generic business hotel, but there’s something genuinely welcoming about the place that hits you before you even get through the front door.
The thing about staying in Stari Grad is that you’re basically in Belgrade’s living room – and this hotel gets that. You can walk to Kalemegdan Fortress in about ten minutes (I timed it), and honestly, that morning stroll through the cobblestone streets with your coffee is worth the booking alone. The staff actually knows the neighborhood, too, which sounds basic but you’d be surprised how rare that is. They pointed me toward this tiny bakery two blocks down that I never would’ve found otherwise, and the woman at reception warned me that Saturday nights can get pretty lively on the nearby streets – not party-loud, just… alive, you know? I appreciated the heads up.
What really won me over was how the hotel feels like it belongs in Belgrade rather than fighting against it. The rooms are clean and well-appointed without being sterile, and there’s this attention to small details that actually matters when you’re living somewhere for a few days. The shower pressure is solid (seriously underrated), the WiFi works everywhere including the lobby, and they’ve got this coffee setup that doesn’t make you feel like you’re drinking cardboard. I stayed on the third floor and barely heard street noise, even though we’re talking about a pretty central location here. The 8.8 rating makes sense when you add it all up – it’s not trying to be the flashiest place in the city, but everything just… works. And honestly, when you’re exploring a city like Belgrade, that’s exactly what you want. A comfortable base where you can crash between wandering through the fortress, hitting up the restaurants in Skadarlija, or just people-watching from one of those perfect café terraces that seem to be on every corner around here.

Location (in the centre near restaurants and cafes, and in the same time quiet street), very comfortable bed, couch, water pressure, friendly and helpful staff.
What could be improved: The power outlets lids were coming off, had some problems with light switches (the staff helped fix it), shower door was loose. Not too much space to store clothes, no drawers in the table and nightstands.
Great location, everything is in walking distance. When we booked, the hotel parking was available and it is only one block away.
The room was clean, warm and spacious.
The pillows were a bit too hard for us so we asked for softer ones and they were replaced immediately. We arrived very late and the night receptionist was welcoming and helpful.
What could be improved: Only down side is the mattress needs to be updated as it would sink towards the middle.
We found the location to be ideal, and the room provided everything we could have asked for.
What could be improved: The acoustics are such that you can hear every conversation from the corridor.

Everything! Very clean rooms, very helpful staff.
It was fancy, quiet and functional. Most important It was clean.
Room decor was very modern and the bed was comfortable. The staff were very friendly and the Location is great.
What could be improved: The rooms are at street level. They are very insulated from outside noise, though it did put me off opening the curtains.

What could be improved: Nothing I didn’t like, however a hotel cafe, bar, or even a breakfast restaurant would be nice. But given the excellent location, you don’t really feel anything is missing.

The hotel is what its name says,the location!!!.In a peaceful neighborhood but so close to the famous Skadarlja and Kneza Mihaila and to a number of cafes , restaurants and clubs.
The room was comfortable,neaty and clean.They changed the bed linen and the towels every two days and we had every day a bottle of water and espresso capsules for free!!
What could be improved: The heating.The room had an air conditioning which was enough for the room but not for the bathroom which was cold.
