Honestly, I wasn't expecting much when I first looked up this place on Bulevar Vudroa Vilsona – I mean, it's one of those newer developments in Belgrade Waterfront that can feel a bit sterile sometimes.
Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first looked up this place on Bulevar Vudroa Vilsona – I mean, it’s one of those newer developments in Belgrade Waterfront that can feel a bit sterile sometimes. But walking into this KARE Design apartment, I actually stopped and thought, “okay, someone really put thought into this.” The space has this modern edge without being cold, you know? Clean lines everywhere, but the kind of furniture that makes you want to sink in and stay awhile.
The river view is the real deal here – not some tiny sliver of Sava you have to crane your neck to see. From the living room windows, you’re looking straight out at the water, and honestly, it’s particularly stunning around sunset when the light hits just right. I spent way too much time just watching the occasional boat drift by. The whole Belgrade Waterfront area is still developing (there’s construction noise during weekday mornings, just so you know), but being right on the boulevard means you’re walking distance to everything without being in the chaos of the old city center. Ada Ciganlija is close enough for a morning jog if that’s your thing, and you can easily walk to Kalemegdan when you want that classic Belgrade fortress experience.
What really struck me was how the apartment actually feels like a home rather than a hotel room with a kitchenette thrown in. The KARE Design touch shows – everything from the lighting to the bathroom fixtures feels intentional, sort of like staying in a friend’s place if your friend happened to have excellent taste and a decent budget. The kitchen is fully equipped (I mean really equipped, not just a mini-fridge and microwave situation), which is perfect since Belgrade has these amazing farmers markets and you’ll want to cook with local ingredients. Check-in was smooth, parking is sorted in the building’s garage – one of those practical details that matters more than you think when you’re dragging luggage around. The 9.6 rating makes sense once you’re there; it’s not trying to be flashy or over-the-top luxurious, but everything just works exactly as it should. If you’re looking for that sweet spot between hotel convenience and apartment comfort, especially with those river views that never get old, this place delivers without any of the usual compromises.

Everything was perfect. Host was very nice, hospitable, easy to get in touch with. The place itself is in Belgrade Waterfront, one of the newly built parts of Belgrade. Apartment is modern, fully equipped, very clean, with balcony overlooking the river and parking garage spot is available too. Location is really good, on the river bank and at the same time close to city center (15-ish minute walk). Vicinity of the biggest shopping mall (TC Galerija) is a major plus.
What could be improved: Nothing really. Maybe the parking garage could have charger for EV installed, but this is something that does not depend on the host of the apartment of course. In any case, should you need one - TC Galerija has the chargers in their parking garage, Level -1, Garage D. What is even better, you can use them free of charge! Hm, maybe this is something I should put in "What I liked part"? :-)

Our recent stay at this apartment was simply amazing, and it's all thanks to the incredible hosts. Seriously, they were beyond anything we could have hoped for or expected.
From the moment we stepped in, we felt like we were welcomed into a friend's home. The hosts were so warm and friendly, it felt like we've known them for ages. They were always there to help out with anything we needed, whether it was recommendations for local spots or just a friendly chat.
The apartment was stylish yet cozy, and everything was spotlessly clean. We felt like we were staying in a fancy hotel, but with all the comforts of home.
The location was also perfect. It was close enough to all the action, plus, there were plenty of great restaurants and shops within walking distance.
Overall, we can't recommend this place enough. If you're looking for a truly unforgettable stay with hosts who will make you feel like family, look no further.

A lot of nice details. Designer furniture from KARE. View is breathtaking. Complementary Nespresso capsules was a nice touch. On top of that washing machine is 2 in 1 with a dryer so I could wash my clothes. Neighborhood is nice - Belgrade waterfront, you are basically in epicenter of everything that is happening. Host is amazing, really helpful for any recommendations. Apartment is clean tidy and definitely you could see that a lot of love was involved into making it a nice place to stay.
