There’s a great little bakery just down the street where locals grab their morning burek – and I mean proper burek, not the tourist version. The Usce Shopping Center is close enough for anything you forgot to pack, and honestly, the walk along the Danube from here to the city center is one of those unexpectedly pleasant discoveries. Plus, parking is actually manageable in this neighborhood, which anyone who’s driven in Belgrade will tell you is basically a miracle. The 9.8 rating makes sense once you’ve stayed here – it’s not flashy or Instagram-worthy, but it just works really well for people who want a comfortable base to explore the city without paying premium prices for a fancy hotel lobby they’ll never use.
