What really impressed me was how quiet it stays at night despite being in such a lively area – the building itself seems really well insulated, which is more than I can say for a lot of places I’ve stayed in the Balkans.

The apartments themselves are where this place really shines though. I mean, when a hotel consistently pulls a 9.8 rating, you expect something special, but the attention to detail here actually lives up to the hype. The kitchens are fully equipped – not just the usual hotel minibar situation, but actual cookware and space to spread out if you want to grab ingredients from the nearby Maxi market and make breakfast your way. The beds are genuinely comfortable (I’m picky about this), and there’s enough space to actually unpack and settle in rather than living out of a suitcase. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too – none of that overly formal hotel desk experience, more like being welcomed by someone who actually cares that you have a good stay. The Wi-Fi works properly, which sounds basic but you’d be surprised how many places get this wrong. Parking can be a bit tricky in this part of Belgrade, but they’ve sorted that out, which is a relief if you’re driving.
