You know how apartment rentals can be hit or miss? Well, this one’s definitely a hit. It’s tucked away on the second floor of this solid old building in Stari Grad, and honestly, the location alone makes it worth considering. You’re literally a five-minute walk from Skadarlija (the cobblestone bohemian quarter everyone raves about), but far enough away that you won’t hear drunk tourists singing Serbian folk songs at 2 AM.
The suite itself feels like staying at a friend’s place – if your friend happens to have really good taste and actually cares about details. The apartment is spacious without being cavernous, and there’s this nice lived-in quality that makes you want to kick off your shoes immediately. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night, which is sort of a miracle in this part of the city. The building has thick walls – you know, proper old-school construction – so street noise isn’t really an issue. Natalie (yes, she’s a real person, not just a brand name) was incredibly responsive when I had questions, and check-in was refreshingly straightforward. No awkward key exchanges at random coffee shops or anything like that.
Here’s what actually matters though: you’re perfectly positioned to explore Belgrade without feeling like you need to take a taxi everywhere. The fortress is maybe a ten-minute stroll, Knez Mihailova pedestrian street is right there, and – this is key – you’re close enough to the river that those evening walks along the Danube become a regular thing instead of a special expedition. I mean, there are tons of little kafanas and restaurants within walking distance, but you’ve also got a proper kitchen if you want to hit the green market and cook something yourself. The 9.3 rating isn’t just numbers on a screen either – you can feel why people keep coming back to this place. It’s got that sweet spot combination of being authentically Belgrade while still having all the modern stuff that makes travel comfortable. Sure, it’s not some flashy hotel with a rooftop pool, but if you want to actually experience the city instead of just passing through it, this is exactly the kind of place you want as your home base.

Great location, good facilities, all the major Belgrade attractions are walking distance away. Parking garage very near and so are 24*7 super market. Perfect for a family of 3 to 4.
Can’t beat the location and the parking is very close. The host was very helpful. Great value for money!
What could be improved: The sofa bed was not the most comfortable so would recommend it more for couples than for 4 people.

The house is very central, walking distance from everywhere. Very close to the market and bus stops. The house can accommodate 2 couples, that is, 4 people. The host is very helpful. Cleaning was done when we arrived on the first day. There are all the materials for cleaning at home.
What could be improved: The door to the street can sometimes be a problem. It can get stuck in the street at night and not open. You may have to struggle a bit in the cold.
