The apartment is wonderful, there must be so much history contained within this grand space. It was extremely spacious and had everything you need for a long or short visit to Belgrade. Contact with the owner was excellent and quick to respond.
On the 2nd floor, accessible by lift easy access instructions in a great location near the fortress and main shopping street

Michael’s Classy Apartment
You know what surprised me most about Michael's Classy Apartment?
You know what surprised me most about Michael’s Classy Apartment? It actually lives up to its name – and honestly, I wasn’t expecting that from a place called “classy apartment” (usually a red flag, right?). But walking into this spot on Kneginje Ljubice, I immediately got why it’s pulling a 9.6 rating. The space feels like staying at that friend’s place who somehow has their life together way more than you do.
The location is pretty perfect if you want to actually experience Belgrade rather than just see it. You’re right in Stari Grad, which means you can stumble to Skadarlija – the bohemian quarter with all those cobblestone streets and traditional kafanas – in about five minutes. I mean, you’ll hear some street noise during the day since it’s a proper neighborhood, but it dies down by evening, and honestly, the sounds of the city are part of the charm here. What I really appreciated was how easy it was to grab groceries or coffee without feeling like a tourist – there’s this little bakery around the corner that locals actually use, and the smell of fresh bread hits you every morning around 7 AM. Michael (yeah, he’s a real person, not just a brand name) was super responsive when I had questions, and check-in was refreshingly straightforward – none of that awkward “where do I even go” confusion you get with some apartment rentals.
The apartment itself strikes this nice balance between having personality and being functional. The furniture doesn’t look like it came from a hotel supply catalog, but everything works properly – good water pressure, reliable WiFi, kitchen that’s actually equipped for cooking real meals if you want to hit the market and make dinner. I stayed there in late spring when Belgrade gets gorgeous, and the windows open wide enough to let in that perfect breeze. The bed situation is solid too – not too soft, not too firm, just right for actually sleeping well after walking around the city all day. What really sold me on the place was the little details: decent lighting for reading, enough outlets in smart places, and a bathroom that doesn’t make you do weird contortions to shower. It’s the kind of place where you can spread out your stuff and feel settled, which is harder to find than you’d think. If you’re planning to explore Belgrade properly – hitting up the fortress, wandering through the markets, maybe taking a day trip along the Danube – this gives you a genuine base in the heart of things without paying hotel prices or dealing with hotel weirdness.

What Our Guests Say
This was a unique experience. Totally recommended stay

Good location, close to Republic Square, many bus and tram routes nearby. Apartment is very large and elegantly decorated, kitchen equipped with full utensils, having washing machine. Made me feel staying in a spacious and comfortable home. Communication with owner via booking.com app is easy. He responded very quickly. He was very generous to let us entered the apartment in the morning. Very clear instruction to get the key from a lockbox at the entrance of the building and just put back when we left. The building has an elevator. Although it is very small sized and old, it's still very helpful to send our baggages up and down during check-in and checkout. At other times, we usually used stairs which are easy to walk. Overall it was a very good experience to stay here for a few days.

One of the best experiences in Belgrade, accommodation-wise. The location is perfect, the apartment is rustic, so if you're into vintage furniture you will love it.
The apartment is very spacious in a central location and it's very classy & chic. For the vintage lovers this place is absolutely perfect.
The parking spot is a big plus.
There are a lot of cafes and attractions nearby. We would definitely want to stay here again if we'd come back to Belgrade.
The owner is very responsive and nice.
Excellent location and communication with the owner. The apartment is in the centrum and has everything what is needed for short or long stay. The big plus is the garage, which is located few minutes walk from the apartment. Lots of restaurants, supermarkets and transportation options next to the apartment. I highly recommend it.

It is very close to the center. Apartment is designed with very old furnitures but culturel maybe from 1970's and 1980's. we have reached to the shopping mall and to the center very easily. We were happy with this. If you want to go back to the 70's and 80's, you must stay there exactly. It was a nice experience for us.
What could be improved: The car park was a little bit far away from the aprtment. Approximately 1 km.
Very spacious apartment with excellent location equipped with everything that you need and little bit extra like coffee tea etc.
Huge vintage luxury accommodation, with some kind of good energy and on the moment that feeling of prestige from some better times.. great location, great host, easy deal... highly recommend!
What could be improved: Moment when you forgot something in the kitchen and you already arrived to master bedroom... about 25 meters to walk ..😂
