But King Marko surprised me in the best way possible. The moment you walk into this 65-square-meter space, it just feels right. It’s got that perfect balance where it’s clearly been thoughtfully designed but doesn’t feel sterile or overly staged like some places do. The living area actually gives you room to breathe, and the kitchen – well, it’s not just for show. I ended up cooking a few meals there because everything worked properly (which, let’s be honest, isn’t always a given).
What really sold me on the location was how genuinely Belgrade it felt. You’re right in Savski Venac, which puts you close enough to the action without dealing with the tourist crowd chaos. There’s this little bakery around the corner that locals queue up at every morning – the smell of fresh bread kind of drifts through the neighborhood, which beats any fancy hotel lobby scent. Walking to Kalemegdan takes maybe fifteen minutes if you’re strolling, and you’ll pass some of those classic Belgrade cafes where people seem to sit for hours nursing a single coffee. The street itself is surprisingly quiet for being so central – I was worried about noise, but even with the windows open, it was peaceful enough to sleep well. Parking can be tricky in this part of town (like most of Belgrade, really), but the host gave me solid advice about where to find spots without getting a ticket.
The apartment itself just works well for travelers. Everything’s been maintained properly – the shower has good pressure, the WiFi doesn’t cut out every five minutes, and there are enough outlets in useful places. I appreciated the little touches too, like having proper hangers in the closet and a coffee maker that wasn’t some ancient relic. The 9.4 rating makes total sense once you’ve stayed there – it’s one of those places where nothing feels like a compromise. You get the space and comfort of having your own place, but with the reliability you’d expect from a good hotel. Plus, being able to grab groceries at the nearby market and have breakfast on your own schedule instead of rushing to beat the hotel buffet cutoff? That’s worth something. Smeštaj je na odličnoj lokaciji, što je bio veliki plus za naš boravak. Sve je bilo besprekorno čisto, a prostor je opremljen svime što je potrebno za ugodan boravak. Domaćini su ljubazni i komunikativni, što je dodatno poboljšalo naše iskustvo..

There was an iron. Apartment was warm and you can control heat. Internet was very fast i had no issues. Location is great
What could be improved: Bed is different than photos and The elasticated sheet was too narrow for the size of the bed and was lifting from the edges when turning in bed. I couldn't hang my clothes because the inside of the closet was dusty. The radiators were dusty.
Really nice flat, close to the bus station. Helpful owner. The area seems a little scruffy as does the apartment block from outside, but do not be put off the flat is great. Also, it's safe and Serbian people are nice.
What could be improved: Area is not very well kept.
Odlična lokacija i smeštaj, dogovor sa domaćinom je bio brz i jednostavan. Stan je veoma prostran i sadrži sve što je potrebno i za duži boravak.

Apartament spațios,curat amplasat central,la câteva minute de multe obiective turistice.
Mentre la struttura esterna è datata, l'appartamento è nuovissimo e pure molto bello. Pulito, comodo e luminoso. Bagno pulito e non piccolo. In zona si riesce pure a parcheggiare senza pagare. Djordje è molto gentile e disponibile.
