You know what struck me first about HostGost Selected Suites – Parliament? It’s tucked into this beautifully preserved building on Vlajkovićeva street, and honestly, walking up to it feels like you’re about to stay in someone’s elegant Belgrade apartment rather than a typical hotel. The location is pretty much perfect if you want to actually experience the city – you’re right in Stari Grad, which means you can walk to Knez Mihailova pedestrian zone in about five minutes, and the Parliament building (hence the name) is literally around the corner.
The suites themselves are surprisingly spacious, and I mean actually spacious, not hotel-brochure spacious. They’ve got this modern-meets-classic Belgrade thing going on that works really well – clean lines and contemporary furniture, but you can still feel the character of the old building in the high ceilings and original architectural details. The kitchenettes are properly equipped too, which is clutch if you want to grab some fresh produce from the morning market on Zeleni Venac (just a short walk away) and make breakfast instead of hunting for decent coffee at 7 AM. Speaking of coffee, there’s a fantastic little kafana called Znak Pitanja practically next door – locals have been going there since the 1800s, and the owner will probably tell you the entire history of Belgrade if you let him.
What really sets this place apart is how it feels integrated into the neighborhood rather than isolated from it. You’ll hear the gentle hum of city life – trams clattering down the nearby streets, people chatting as they walk to work – but it’s never intrusive. The building’s courtyard creates this nice buffer from street noise, so you actually sleep well. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too; the staff clearly know the area inside and out and gave me restaurant recommendations that weren’t just the usual tourist spots. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle in this part of town (it’s Belgrade, after all), but they’ll sort you out with options nearby. The 9.2 rating makes total sense once you’re there – it’s one of those places that gets all the practical stuff right while still having genuine character. If you’re the type who wants to wake up in the heart of old Belgrade, grab a burek from the bakery down the street, and walk to the fortress along the Danube, this is your spot.

Very easy to get, because of very good guidance
In 5 minutes secured public garage, very important if you are traveling with car.

The location is phenomenal. The apartment is located in an old building with a lot of charm, but it is very modern and tastefully renovated. Considering that the building is old, the elevator may be a problem for some, but it is negligible. Communication with the host was excellent. We will probably be back again.
What could be improved: The downside of this apartment is its proximity to Chacilend. But that's not the owners' fault.

The apartment is in an amazing location! Highly recommend it if visiting Bg. The neighbourhood is one of the nicest in town.. the owners were so helpful and super easy to reach. Flat was equipped with all the facilities that a family of four needs. Will definitely return next time we are all visiting.
It’s located very close to Republique square. It’s a beautiful apartment. Very easy to access. You will have everything you need. And the communication of the employers was very good. You get a very fast reply to your questions. If I come again to Belgrade I would stay in this place again.

Very clean and excellent location
This is a wonderful place for families with children. We stayed there for nine days and found it to be quiet and cozy. Everything you need is present, the host is friendly and responsive via WhatsApp. There is room for every need:two comfortable beds, a large storage space, a dishwasher, an oven, and kitchenware included. One of the beds was located in the corner with three wall around, making it easy to safely sleep with our baby while he needed it with low risk for baby to fall on the floor. The place has recently undergone renovations, making it look really nice. Please note that apartment is on the fifth floor, but the elevator goes only to the fourth floor, so if you have some mobility issues, please contact with manager.
What could be improved: A microwave would be useful for people who cook a lot, but there isn't one here.
