Sometimes the best spots don’t need perfect marketing copy because the experience speaks for itself, and this apartment absolutely delivers on that front.

The street itself has this wonderful mix of old Belgrade architecture and modern energy, and honestly, being right there means you’ll hear the city waking up in the morning (which I personally love, but if you’re a super light sleeper, maybe pack earplugs). What’s brilliant is that you’re walking distance from Knez Mihailova pedestrian zone – you know, where everyone ends up anyway – but you’re not stuck in the tourist crush every time you come home. The building itself has that solid, pre-war feel that makes you feel like you’re staying somewhere with actual history, not some generic modern box.

Inside, well, that 9.8 rating isn’t just people being generous. The apartment feels like someone actually lives here and cares about the details – proper lighting that doesn’t make you squint, a kitchen where you can actually cook if you want to (and honestly, after a few days of restaurant hopping, sometimes you just want to make coffee your way), and windows that open properly so you can let in that Belgrade air. The whole setup feels more like borrowing a friend’s really nice place than staying in a rental, if that makes sense. I particularly appreciated that they’d thought about storage – there’s actually somewhere to put your stuff that isn’t just living out of a suitcase on the floor. Small thing, but it makes a difference when you’re settling in for more than just a night or two.

Plus, and this is key if you’re planning to explore beyond the old town, you’re well connected to the rest of the city from here – trams, buses, everything runs through or near Terazije, so you’re not stuck in one corner of Belgrade the whole time.
