But once that elevator opens on the top floor, it’s a completely different story. The space hits you immediately with these floor-to-ceiling windows that frame Belgrade like it’s a postcard, and I mean the real Belgrade – not just the touristy bits, but the whole sprawling city stretching out toward New Belgrade and the rivers.
What really got me was how they’ve managed to capture that perfect Belgrade vibe without trying too hard. The apartment actually feels like someone lives there (in the best way), with this mix of modern touches and authentic Serbian character that you don’t usually find in hotels. The kitchen’s fully kitted out, which is clutch because honestly, some of the best produce markets are just a few blocks away near Zeleni Venac – and trust me, you’ll want to cook with those tomatoes. The location on Balkanska puts you right in that sweet spot where locals actually live and work, not just where tourists wander around taking photos. You’re walking distance to Knez Mihailova for shopping and people-watching, but far enough away that you won’t hear the weekend crowds stumbling home at 3 AM.
I’ve got to mention the terrace situation because it’s kind of the whole point – you’re up high enough to see both the Danube and Sava rivers on clear days, and the sunsets… well, let’s just say I found myself planning my whole evening around them. The neighborhood gets pretty quiet after business hours, which surprised me initially since you’re so central, but it makes sense when you realize most of the surrounding buildings are offices and older residential blocks where people actually go to bed at reasonable hours. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle (welcome to Belgrade), but the hosts were really helpful with suggestions, and honestly, once you’re settled in, you’ll probably walk everywhere anyway. The whole experience feels less like staying in a hotel and more like borrowing a really well-connected friend’s apartment – except this friend has impeccable taste and left you the good coffee. If you’re the type who wants to feel like you’re living in Belgrade rather than just visiting it, this place nails it.

Fabulous location. Brilliant restaurants near by. Wonderful balcony with views over the city. Excellent WiFi, very spacious, good lift access. Highly recommend if you are in Belgrade.

Location is perfect,near all amenities. The view from the terrace was amazing especially at night. The apartment was very comfortable and clean. It’s perfect for short and long stays on a budget.

What could be improved: Small one room aprtment, too many tables, the bed was uncomfortable, it need a deep cleaning, the toilet was smelly, not many free space for my personal belongings ,small closet, bad light.
Great view from top floor, very friendly host, straightforward check-in/out process, good wifi. Bathroom and everything was clean. Doors and windows worked properly.
What could be improved: Lights were white/bright and the bed was rather uncomfortable, very firm and starchy. Nothing major.

What could be improved: The old elevator is very noisy at night, which affects sleep and the room a little bit dark.
As we expected, it was a comfortable, peaceful and well-appointed house. Our host and his intermediary family were friendly and helpful. It was an accommodation that we would choose again when we go again.
The apartment is on the 8th floor and has a nice terrace with a great view!
It was clean and tidy, the kitchen is equipped and the hosts are super friendly.
The parking lot is behind the building, so the car is safe.

Very cosy appartment with all needed for living. Balcony with a view. Excellent location - 15 minutes walk from Belgrade promenade and close to areas with restaurants. Very helpful host. So you can easily feel like home there.
