Loved the design of the property, everything was clean, and the location was perfect, walking distance to Kalemegdan and Knez Mihailova
What could be improved: The only fault is that it is too bright in the morning in the bedroom and living room due to the curtains being too short in width to create blackout which makes it hard to fall asleep once waken up early in the morning. But everything else was fantastic and cannot fault anything!

Biarritz Luxury Apartments
Look, I'll be straight with you about Biarritz Luxury Apartments – the name had me scratching my head at first (Biarritz is in France, not Serbia), but honestly, once you step into this place on Francuska Street, you sort of get it.
Look, I’ll be straight with you about Biarritz Luxury Apartments – the name had me scratching my head at first (Biarritz is in France, not Serbia), but honestly, once you step into this place on Francuska Street, you sort of get it. There’s this unexpected elegance that feels almost French in its attention to detail. The building itself is classic Belgrade architecture, and you’re on the fourth floor, which means you actually get some decent views over Stari Grad without the street noise that can drive you crazy in this part of the city. I mean, Francuska can get pretty lively, especially on weekends, but being up there gives you just enough buffer.
What really got me was how they’ve managed to make apartment-style accommodation feel genuinely luxurious without going overboard. The spaces are thoughtfully laid out – not just big for the sake of being big, but functional in a way that makes you feel like you could actually live there for a while. The kitchens are properly equipped (I’m talking real cookware, not the flimsy stuff you usually get), which is clutch if you want to grab fresh ingredients from Zeleni Venac market – it’s literally a five-minute walk down the hill. The beds are that perfect firmness where you sink in just enough, and they’ve got blackout curtains that actually work, which you’ll appreciate if you’re dealing with jet lag or if the summer sun is hitting your windows early.
You know what really sealed it for me though? The little things they get right. Check-in was smooth – no standing around waiting for someone to find your reservation or figure out the key situation. The WiFi actually works throughout the entire space (revolutionary, I know, but you’d be surprised how many places mess this up). And the location – well, you’re basically in the heart of old Belgrade without being right on top of the tourist chaos. Skadarlija is close enough for dinner, but you can also duck into those tiny kafanas that locals actually go to. There’s this little bakery around the corner that opens stupidly early and makes the kind of burek that’ll ruin you for all other burek. The 9.8 rating isn’t just people being nice – this place consistently delivers on the details that matter when you’re trying to settle in somewhere new, even if it’s just for a few days. It’s the kind of spot where you end up staying longer than planned because leaving feels like giving up something good.

The hosts were extremely helpful in recommending things to do/see, arranging transport for my next destination, and were overall extremely responsive, hospitable, and friendly. I look forward to booking the same accommodation (if it's available) the next time I visit Belgrade!
