I mean, you can actually have a phone call without waking up your travel partner, which is rarer than it should be in most places. The kitchen is functional too, not just for show, which matters when you want to grab some fresh stuff from Zeleni Venac market (just a few minutes’ walk) and actually use it. The bathroom situation is solid – good water pressure, which anyone who’s traveled in the Balkans will appreciate isn’t always a given.

Location-wise, you’re right in the heart of Stari Grad, but on a quieter street that doesn’t get the late-night party noise from Skadarlija or Knez Mihailova. Though honestly, if you want that action, it’s literally a three-minute walk to get into the thick of things. I loved being able to stumble back from dinner at Tri Šešira without needing a taxi or figuring out the tram system after a few rakijas. The building itself is secure – you need a code to get in, which gave me peace of mind leaving my laptop and camera gear there during the day. Parking can be tricky in this area (like most of central Belgrade), but there are spots if you’re patient, and honestly, you probably won’t need a car much anyway since everything walkable.
