The fact that there’s free parking right on site immediately won me over — anyone who’s tried to park in Belgrade’s city center knows this is basically gold.
Zvezdara is one of those neighborhoods that feels like a secret locals don’t want tourists to discover. You’re close enough to everything that matters, but far enough from the tourist crowds to get a real feel for the city. I mean, couples consistently rate this location 9.5 out of 10, and after spending time here, I totally get why. There’s this perfect balance — you can walk to cafes where people actually speak Serbian (not just tourist English), but you’re still well-connected to Belgrade’s main attractions.
The apartment surprised me in the best way possible. It’s got this modern, clean aesthetic that somehow doesn’t feel sterile — probably because of the thoughtful touches throughout. The kitchen is actually functional (not just decorative like some places), which matters if you want to grab groceries from the local market and cook something simple. The main room has plenty of space to spread out, and honestly, after a day of walking around Belgrade, having a proper living area instead of just a hotel bed makes all the difference.
Here’s the thing about staying in an apartment versus a traditional hotel — you get to live like you actually belong somewhere. There’s no lobby full of tour groups, no overpriced hotel restaurant pushing mediocre food. Instead, you’re in a residential building where your neighbors might nod hello in the hallway. The apartment has everything you need without trying to be something it’s not, and the location score of 9.5 isn’t just marketing fluff — it’s genuinely well-positioned for exploring the city on foot or by public transport.

The location.
What could be improved: The bedding was not clean, particularly on the single beds, which had a noticeably unpleasant smell. Unfortunately, my children had to use them. The towels were also dirty, and the floor was not clean either.

What could be improved: The property manager was responsive, however:
- it was only on the check-in day that we were asked about our car's dimensions; unfortunately, we were not able to use the garage, which created parking issues at the busy location
- the apartment needed better maintenance (e.g., a heavy shower door came off the rail during a shower, a tap is missing a handle)
- hygiene was not at the expected level (e.g., a hair was found in the fridge)
- after the shower incident involving a child, we checked out early in the morning after the first night. The owner was not surprised with our feedback and, while offering a new apartment, failed to understand our concerns and expectations.
- as a result of the negative experience, we spent double the money, while still waiting for a refund.
The apartment was as described, pretty close to the city centre (25-minute walk). The garage was great, but keep in mind that the height is 1,9 m, which could be a problem for some cars. Marko and Aleksandra were very friendly.
What could be improved: The apartment was not clean enough. There was a huge spider with an even bigger web on the ceiling (you could see that it hadn't been cleaned in a while), there were crumbs on the floor and an empty toilet roll on the toilet roll stand. Also, the freezer and the tap in the bathroom are a bit broken.
The host was very pleasant and easy to deal with. Enough space in the apartment.
What could be improved: Parking is very tricky underground. Noise in the early hours from the street. Kitchen supplies and cleaning supplies should be updated.
It was an ok place to stay for one night.
What could be improved: The apartment was a bit dirty. Toilet seat was loose and the shower cabinet didnt close. The water tap in the toilet was also broken. The closet in the main room was difficult to open/close. The iron was dirty.
Nice location with comfy beds and a really nice host.

Everything was perfect. Communication was extremely fast and smooth. Marko also immediately organized a transfer from the airport to the apartment. The apartment was extremely clean and tidy. Complete service is at the highest level. I definitely recommend the accommodation.
The apartment is really good in general, the location is very good, the building looks nice, there is free parking space around, inside the apartment is also very nice looking and clean, furniture is quite new and comfortable.
What could be improved: The only thing discomfortable is the shower cabin. The water drain pipe in the cabin is really stuck so if you let the water run any faster you will easily get a flood all over the bathroom, so it stops you from having a comfortable shower. However, this is something what can be solved easily, so I really advise the owner to check those water drain pipes.

What could be improved: The apartment was not clean, there was a strong scent of cigarettes in the apartment, which could not be aired out even after a week. The drain in the shower was clogded so that showering was nearly impossible. There was no room in the closet to put anything in. The 3. bed was pull out armchair which was very uncomfortable.
