You know that stretch right in Stari Grad where everything feels authentically Serbian but you’re still walking distance from Republic Square? That’s exactly where Apartment #4 sits, and honestly, the location alone makes it worth considering. I mean, you’re literally in the heart of old Belgrade without the tourist trap nonsense – I could hear the morning bustle from Knez Mihailova pedestrian street, but it wasn’t overwhelming or anything.
The apartment itself has this lived-in charm that I really appreciated. It’s not trying to be some Instagram-perfect rental space, which actually made it feel more comfortable somehow. The owners clearly know what budget travelers need – the WiFi worked perfectly (tested it during a work call), the kitchen had actual useful stuff in it, not just decoration, and the bed was surprisingly decent for the price point. What really impressed me was how quiet it got at night, even though you’re right in the center. The building has those thick old walls that seem to muffle everything once you close the windows. Oh, and they weren’t kidding about the parking reservation being mandatory – I watched someone get turned away because they just showed up expecting a spot. But honestly, having guaranteed parking in central Belgrade is kind of a miracle, so book it when you reserve.
The thing that struck me most was how the place connects you to actual Belgrade life. There’s this little bakery two doors down where locals grab their morning burek – I ended up going there every day because the smell would drift up and basically force me out of bed. You can walk to Kalemegdan Fortress in about ten minutes, hit the bohemian quarter of Skadarlija even faster, and when you want to experience Belgrade’s famous nightlife, you’re already positioned perfectly. The building entrance feels a bit industrial at first glance, but that’s just old Belgrade architecture – once you’re inside, it’s totally fine. I will say the check-in process was smoother than expected, and the hosts actually gave me some solid restaurant recommendations that weren’t just the obvious tourist spots. For what you’re paying, especially considering that 9.4 rating isn’t just random luck, this place delivers on being genuinely budget-friendly without making you feel like you’re roughing it. It’s the kind of spot where you end up staying longer than planned because it just works, you know?

The staff and the location are fantastic. The furniture (inside) looks a bit old on the photos, but in reality it is not. It is a well maintained clean apartment. The host is very helpful and responsive. Hopefully, we will stay again!

Didn't know there was breakfast, but that wasn't important. The location was the key and having a public parking spot 400m away was perfect. It was very safe, that was the important thing and having a lift as well. Nothing worse than having to lug your luggage up stairs. Hahah.
There was privacy and no time restrictions of entering the property. With arrival as well, the host was very accommodating as my flight arrived very late into Belgrade. The booking.com taxi service was another cherry on top.
What could be improved: There is nothing that I didn't like, I will recommend this location to all my friends and family, this is the perfect place to be in Belgrade.
At my age it was clean and comfortable to sleep in, but the best was its location. Can’t be better than that and value for money on my budget.

What could be improved: Asansörü sorunlu idi . çok eski bina olduğu için belki asansör sistemi komple değişmeli. Bazen tam kat hizasında durmuyordu. Durması çok sarsıntılı idi.

Great Location.
What could be improved: The Place is very loud. The building is very old. The apartment entrance door is made of glass and the light in the stairwell is constantly going on and off (all night long). No window shutters. It is offered as a two bedroom apartment - but it is one bedroom and a living room with a double bed in it.
It's location in regards with the Knez Mihajlova and Trg Sloboda.
What could be improved: No door on one of the rooms
Nice apartments, spacious and good lighting.
What could be improved: - The elevator is weird (can move to a the floor, then get back or not working) -- had to walk stairs (6 floor)
- Wifi is so so
