This four-star place completely surprised me. The building sits right on Uroša Martinovića street, and there’s something refreshingly modern about the whole setup — it feels more like staying at a friend’s really nice place than a typical hotel.

Here’s the thing about New Belgrade that most people don’t realize until they actually stay there — it’s incredibly well-connected to everything you want to see. I mean, you’re literally minutes from the old town by tram or bus, but you get to experience this completely different side of Belgrade that’s all wide boulevards and modern architecture. The area around the apartment has this great mix of local cafés and shops, plus you’re close enough to the Danube that evening walks become part of your routine. Couples seem to really get this vibe — there’s something romantic about having your own space while being perfectly positioned to explore the city.

What I loved most was how the room actually feels like a proper living space, not just somewhere to crash between sightseeing. The kitchen is fully equipped — and I actually used it, which says something since I’m usually too lazy to cook while traveling. There’s enough space to spread out, which is rare in European city accommodations, honestly. Getting around is surprisingly easy from here — parking isn’t the nightmare you’d expect in a major city, and public transport connections are solid. The staff knows their stuff about Belgrade, which matters more than you might think when you’re trying to figure out the best way to get to Skadarlija or whether it’s worth the trip out to Zemun. They’re helpful without being pushy, if that makes sense.

Why Guests Love It

After staying here, I totally get why this place scores so highly with recent guests. It’s that rare combination of independence and support — you have your own space to decompress after long days of exploring, but you’re not completely on your own in a foreign city. The location really is top-notch, though I’d say it’s less about being in the absolute center and more about being positioned where locals actually live and work. For couples especially, there’s something appealing about having a proper base in Belgrade rather than just a hotel room. You end up feeling like you’re getting a genuine taste of how the city actually works, not just the tourist version.
