You know what? I’ve stayed in a lot of places around Belgrade, and Apartment Ana just hits differently. It’s tucked away on Graničarska Street in Vračar – and honestly, if you know anything about Belgrade neighborhoods, you’ll get why this location is kind of perfect. Vračar has this residential charm that feels authentically Serbian without being touristy, but you’re still close enough to everything that matters.
The apartment itself feels like staying at a friend’s place, if your friend happened to have really good taste and actually cared about comfort. I mean, it’s got that 4-star rating for a reason, but what struck me most was how thoughtfully everything was set up. The kitchen actually has proper cookware (not those flimsy tourist apartment pans), and there’s this little balcony where you can have your morning coffee while watching the neighborhood wake up. The sound situation is surprisingly good too – Graničarska isn’t one of those crazy busy streets, so you can actually sleep with the windows open on warm nights.
What really sold me on this place was the small stuff that shows someone actually lives in Belgrade and knows what travelers need. There’s decent Wi-Fi (I worked from there for a few days without wanting to throw my laptop), the shower has proper water pressure, and – this might sound weird but trust me – the beds are comfortable in that specific way that makes you not want to get up in the morning. Ana clearly knows what she’s doing as a host, and it shows in details like having local recommendations written down and making sure the heating actually works properly during winter months. The 9.7 rating isn’t just people being nice – it’s because when you stay somewhere and everything just works without you having to think about it, that’s worth something. Plus, you’re a easy walk from Temple of Saint Sava if you want to do the tourist thing, but you’re also close to those little kafanas and shops where locals actually go. It’s sort of the best of both worlds, really.

Everything. The apartment is amazing with everything you need. Comfy, clean and very warm. Coffee, tea and even milk in the fridge and chocolates on the table.

The owner was waiting at the door for us, when we arrived he was really welcoming and communicative. Everything went very smoothly and I was impressed by the love for detail in the place!! The kitchen provides you with anything you possibly need for cooking, the bathroom was extremely clean and the bedroom really clean as well. Perfect for long stay.

This apartment was one of the cleanest accommodation I’ve ever been. Everything was super clean and tidy. The apartment is very equipped. There are shutters on the windows for more comfortable sleeping. The host are very nice and flexible. We left our car in the garage/parking house close to the apartment. It costs 13€/day.
The apartment exceeded our expectations: it's clean, spacious, and fully equipped with all appliances. Everything is new and well thought out to the smallest detail. It's rare to find an apartment in such condition, and even with all the consumables (tea, coffee, milk, all household chemicals). High-speed internet. Located in the center. Hospitable hosts, ready to help. I recommend, 12/10.
The owner and cleanliness
The property is beautifully designed, clean, modern and has all facilities, meaning that despite the fact that it is compact, it delivers everything it promises.
What could be improved: Very little. The only thing to remark on is that the beds, and especially the sofa bed, are not very confortable. This might be ok for one or two nights, but not much more!
