Well, this little gem on Dobračina street actually delivered on that 9.7 rating. I mean, when you’re tucked away in Stari Grad like this, you’re literally walking distance from everything that matters. Skadarlija’s cobblestones and kafanas are maybe three minutes on foot, and you can practically smell the ćevapi from Dva Jelena wafting over on weekend evenings.
What really got me was how they’ve managed to nail that sweet spot between boutique charm and actual comfort. The building itself has this old Belgrade character – you know, those thick walls that keep things cool in summer and actually quiet at night (which, trust me, is no small feat when you’re this close to the action). The rooms feel thoughtfully put together rather than cookie-cutter hotel standard, and honestly, the shower pressure was better than my apartment back home. I stayed during late spring when the city starts buzzing again, and while you can hear a bit of street life, it’s more like a gentle Belgrade soundtrack than anything disruptive. The staff seemed to genuinely know the neighborhood too – not just the tourist spots, but where to grab proper coffee at 7 AM or which market has the best produce.
Here’s the thing about location that booking sites don’t really capture: you’re positioned perfectly to feel like you’re living in Belgrade rather than just visiting it. Kalemegdan Park is an easy stroll when you need some green space, but you’re also close enough to Knez Mihailova that you can duck into the pedestrian buzz whenever you want. Parking can be a bit of a dance around here – I’d definitely ask them about it if you’re driving – but honestly, once you’re settled in, you probably won’t need a car much. The whole Stari Grad area unfolds around you, and I found myself discovering new corners and cafes just by wandering. It’s one of those places where the high rating makes sense once you’re there – not because everything is flashy or over-the-top, but because all the little details work together smoothly. You check in easily, sleep well, step outside into one of Belgrade’s most authentic neighborhoods, and somehow it all just feels right.

The location is wonderful near the best places to eat in the city. The apartment had EVERYTHING you need for a short (and even longer) stay as a couple, nice air con, lovely lounge area.
The host was excellent, gave us some great recommendations and made sure we were comfortable during our stay.
What could be improved: Nothing, the apartment was perfectly adequate.

The apartment is in the best neighborhood of Belgrade also very central so everywhere is within the walking distance. Ivana was always super helpful and gave us great suggestions. Apartment might look a bit small but its high ceiling and every single need has been carefully thought for you, so if you need something it will be there. Unlike most, we did like the firmness of the bedding, it was really comfortable. Due to limited space if you travel solo or couple, not looking a hotel breakfast, wanna feel the city vibe at its best this is the place. This will be our choice without a doubt if we go to Belgrade again.

Amazing: location, value for money, super host.
The apartment was very nice, clean and cozy. The owner is very nice and hospitable. The place is great for 1 to 2 people and very close to the city center. The owner had also left a small gift for me by the bed and it was a very nice touch. I will definitely rebook this place if I ever travel to Belgrade again.

The host was really kind and It was really easy to check in even when I came in later than expected, and very easy to check out.
The location was great, near the main attraction and buses.
The apartment was really clean and well equipped with everything you could need, up to a kettle, a coffee machine and even coffee / tea with cups and so on.
It was winter and very snowy, yet the appartement was really warm 👌🏼
