The staff seemed to genuinely know the neighborhood too, which was refreshing. When I asked about dinner recommendations, they didn’t just hand me a generic list but actually asked what I was in the mood for and steered me toward this fantastic little place that I never would have found otherwise. I stayed here during shoulder season (early October), so it wasn’t completely packed, but even then you could tell this place runs smoothly. The 9.2 rating doesn’t surprise me at all – it’s the kind of hotel that gets the fundamentals right and then adds those little touches that make you want to come back.
