The location is honestly perfect if you want to feel like you’re staying in real Belgrade rather than some tourist bubble. Čika-Ljubina runs right through the heart of Stari Grad, which means you’re literally walking distance from Knez Mihailova – but far enough away that you’re not dealing with the crowds and street performers until you actually want to. I mean, you can grab coffee at one of those tiny local spots that don’t even have English menus, then be at the fortress in fifteen minutes if you feel like it. The building itself is typical Belgrade architecture – solid, unpretentious, the kind of place where actual people live and work.
