Central Park Apartments
You know what really struck me about Central Park Apartments?
You know what really struck me about Central Park Apartments? The name is actually perfect – and I don’t mean because it sounds fancy. It’s literally right on Studenski trg, which is this lovely tree-lined square that feels like Belgrade’s answer to a proper park setting, minus the tourist chaos you’d get with the actual Central Park. The building itself has that solid, understated elegance that screams “I’ve been here forever and I’m not going anywhere” – classic Belgrade architecture that’s been smartly updated without losing its soul.
The location is honestly brilliant if you know Belgrade at all. Stari Grad means Old Town, but it’s not the kind of old town where you’re dodging tour groups and overpriced restaurants every five minutes. This is where actual Belgraders live and work, which means you’re walking distance from proper cafes where locals actually drink their morning coffee, not just the Instagram-friendly spots. I mean, you’re maybe ten minutes from Knez Mihailova pedestrian zone if you want the full tourist experience, but you can also just wander down to the Danube embankment for evening walks without fighting crowds. The tram connections are solid too – actually, scratch that, you probably won’t need them much because everything worth seeing is walkable from here.
What really sells this place though is how it handles that tricky balance between being a proper hotel and feeling like you’re staying in someone’s well-appointed apartment. The rooms have this lived-in comfort – good linens, decent coffee situation, windows that actually open (you’d be surprised how many Belgrade hotels seal you in). The 8.4 rating makes total sense when you factor in little things like the staff actually knowing the neighborhood well enough to point you toward the bakery that opens earliest, or which kafana serves the best ćevapi without the tourist markup. Honestly, the four-star rating feels about right – it’s not trying to be the flashiest place in town, but everything works properly and the details are thoughtfully done. The area can get a bit lively on weekend nights (university square, after all), but it’s the good kind of lively – people heading out for dinner, not stumbling back from clubs at 4 AM. If you’re looking for that sweet spot between being in the heart of things and actually getting some sleep, this hits it perfectly.

What Our Guests Say
Bojan is an excellent host. Everything was as agreed.
Location is great!
What could be improved: Maybe some towels more!
Old school classic rooftop apartment . It is in the center of the city very near to all the attractions in Belgrade. Clean, quite and cozy
What could be improved: Walking all the stairs up to 4th floor
Bojan was the perfect host friendly and kept his promises...he advised us some bars...
Our appartmen was clean and complete..toiletpaper towels it wasall there..
What could be improved: It was perfect in the middle of the centrum
Very spacious comfortable and in a great central location. I booked this hotel due to being one of the only available with a very late check in time. The staff were very responsive and all the facilities were amazing. For the price I guess in terms of Serbia it is expensive but for everywhere else I've stayed in Europe this price is amazing for what is given.
What could be improved: It's hard to complain. I guess maybe if there was food provided it would be 10/10 but it's an apartment not a hotel.
It is on the popular street
What could be improved: The water heater in the bathroom didnt work at our last evening so we had to take a cold shower
The position is near the center and dont need car
What could be improved: All was great
Located in Stari Grad within walking distance to the main points in the center. The apartment was equipped with everything needed for a short stay. Great nighlifte around and many restaurants and cafés.
The apartment was comfortable in a great central location. Easy for visiting many Belgrade attractions and museums. Lots of bars, restaurants and shops nearby as well as good transport links.
What could be improved: We couldn't find any tea towels, bread knife or bath mats. Apart from this everything else was fine.
